Easy to Put together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy has been begging me to get a tent forever, where it was to go camping or do an indoor camp out he really wanted one and since it was just my son, his father and I we really didn't need a huge tent so this was a really good choice. One of the first things that drew me in to getting the tent was the quick set, packaging suggests it should take about five minutes. The directions for the most part are pretty easy to follow and with the pole parts already by stretchy cord so all you have to do is connect the poles and and the hooks so really, I did it by myself so it really easy to do. The only part I really had issues with was setting up the awning, I couldn't really get it straight in the front but it covered the top was was hooked to the tent so it wouldn't move so definitely not going to let rain in on the top or fly off or anything. Size wise it is true to size (we initially testing it out inside the house and it fit in our dinning room it's not super big but we could lay comfortably with extra leg room) though once I sat in it I realized you definitely need a mattress that's more on the flatter size since it's only four foot tall it can make it hard getting in and out if the mattress is too big, for us we usually use thick sleeping bags and blankets so it isn't an issue for us but something other might want to consider. I also found the way the poles are designed it make the poles sturdy especially with my little guy jumping in and out of the tent and pulling on the side it retained it's shape and stayed put. One thing I really like about this tent is not only does is have a window for the front so you can look out without opening the whole tent but also let's air in if you dont want to open the door and worry about bugs getting in. Another thing I like that it has a pocket that you can put several phones or other things in so you can find them easily and it also has place on the top so you can hook up a lantern or hang something if you need to. Overall this is a really nice tent and very easy to set up so it's worth trying.

Great tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice tent, only downfall is it’s small. A queen mattress barely fits. I wouldn’t plan on storing any gear inside if you’re camping with two. Bonus that it’s lightweight, and assembled in less than 5 minutes. Directions for setup and takedown are inside bag, sewn in so you don’t lose them. Following the folding instructions for take down is a must to fit back inside storage bag appropriately. Kudos to Coleman for designing a bag that expands further on the bottom. Love that this tent has 90% screening around the top for those nights of clear skies to look at stars, and to help keep it a comfortable temperature when the rain fly is needed.

Durable and Easy Set-up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this tent for a two day camping trip. I love how small the tent packaging is. Very easy to carry. Setting it up was a breeze. It took us between 10-15 minutes. We used a full size mattress. It can accommodate a queen size but that would literally leave no floor space for storage. We barely had any. Getting dressed inside was a bit of a challenge as well. We definitely didn’t have room to stand up. It rained a little our first night. I was concerned about everything inside the tent getting wet but the tent did it’s job and we could relax and just listen to the sounds of nature. I would recommend this for one to two people with very little gear.

Very roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was a little unsure about setting up my first tent, however it was fairly easy. Set up time take about 5 minutes, very easy and fast set up. Leaving you more time to enjoy the outdoors. Has a wide door so it made it easier to bring in our equipment and sleeping bags. Marerial looks good and strong, didnt encounter any rain but looks like it withstands rain and wind. Comes in a carry case, wich makes it easier to carry along while hiking up a trail to set up camp or to take along wherever you will take tent. Doesnt weight much roughly around 8-10 lbs. Light weight, practical and very easy set up.

Great for the dog and me

I usually have an 8 person tent but I wanted to downsize for my solo trips with my dog. This fits a sleeping pad easy with half the space still available for my bags and my dog’s bed. It really does have more height as advertised which I found to be really nice. The tub like design of the bottom is great but makes the tent look a little awkward in the front like it’s not straightened out.

Great little tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coleman's Skydome tent is great and just perfect for my son and I. It takes a matter of only a few min to put together and is spacious enough to fit our queen air mattress. It does however take a Lil longer to put away but it was expected. I'd definitely recommend this to friends and family for their next camping trip!

Perfect room for 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coleman always lives up to its name. The tent is perfect for 2. It is very easy to put together. I have many Coleman products and haven’t had a complaint yet. Price wise it’s not too bad. Smaller packaging so it fits great In the car.

Easy Set Up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, high quality tent. My husband, myself and our two year old fit comfortably. Set up is super quick! Took me about 5 minutes. Good size door makes it easy to get in and out. The bag expands so you can easily pack up.

My affordable moto-camping tent

I have used this tent several times for moto-camping as well as car camping with my dog over a multi-day trip to Maine and back from Illinois. I love how easy it is to set up as well as how nice the ventilation is even with the rain cover on. Roomier up top than most 2-person tents and definitely kept me dry in rainy conditions. Even though I look at more expensive tents online for possible upgrades, I don't pull the trigger because I'm happy with what I got. Until I have a bad experience with it, I will keep using the Coleman Skydome as my primary small camping tent.

Very nice tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is very nice and very easy to put up. I love that the instructions are sewn into the bag that it comes in. If you just follow the instructions, you can put this tent up in less than 10 minutes by yourself. Taking the tent down is easy too, however the instructions are a little more vague on how to roll the tent up to fit it back in it's carry bag, but once you figure it out, there is no problem. My children enjoyed how much room is in this tent as well. I was impressed with the head room and that there still seemed to be enough space to move around.
