Wow! Been using my Goodr glasses about 2 months and then I bought goggles about a month ago. I was suspicious that the low price would mean low quality. I was looking at other brands that are three and four times as much. I was also tired of having to wonder if I would break my goggles while changing lenses. Along came the Goodrs with magnetic lenses....and so far they are excellent. I use them in the resort and the backcountry and really, they are just as nice as the really expensive ones I was looking at. My other thought is that I destroy goggles pretty regular, and it doesn't matter how much they were, and it isnt the goggles' fault---it's mine. May as well have nice goggles and money left for other things!
I really wanted to love these. The lenses seem great and switching them is quick and easy since they're magnetic but they are absolutely massive. Actually much larger than my face. They cover almost my entire nose and my cheeks. I can't even wear them with my helmet properly because they're so big (I have to tilt my helmet back and wear it to far back on my head which basically makes it pointless to even wear my helmet. The quality is good but definitely not worth saving 20 bucks. wish I'd just bought clear lenses for my other goggles. If you have a big head they probably work fine but if you have a normal to small head I'd look elsewhere
How? HOW ARE THESE SO GOOD?! 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend.
These goggles live up to the hype. They fit well — either make or female and effectively battle the glare and blowing snow. I bought multiple pairs — first at a retailer who talked them up, then for a gift directly online from goodr because they checked every box: style and function. Friends were jealous! :-0 The interchangeable lens sealed the deal. They remain intact and are a breeze to switch out. The cloth wipe and case were icing on the cake. Feedback from the gift recipient echoed mine. Now we’re both raving.
These goggles fit my Asian face shape and 62.5 cm head perfectly. As a glasses wearer, I found it a bit challenging to slide my frames into the goggles at first. Compared to the Giro Roam Snow Goggles, which also have a medium frame and allow glasses to slide in more easily, these require a bit more effort. However, removing the magnetic lens, sliding my glasses through, and reattaching the lens solves the issue seamlessly. The magnetic lens is a game-changer—secure, convenient, and easy to use. The flexible frame makes it easier to conform to my face shape. They also fit perfectly under the Giro XL Ledge Helmet, making them an excellent choice for anyone with similar gear.
we have worn goodr sunglasses for a few now so I bought these goggles for myself, wife, and two teenage sons for our last ski/snowboard trip, as we all needed new pairs. we could not be happier. we wore them in sun, snow, day, and night. they did not fog at all and were perfect in all conditions! we wore the dark/mirrored lenses during the daytime, then switched to the low light lenses for night skiing. we received lots of compliments on them as well. the case and bag they come with keep them safe from scratches, too. these are better than a lot of much more expensive brands that we have owned or used!
The black color was cool for my teenager. Magnetic changeable lenses were super efficient for the sunny and snowy days you tend to experience while skiing out West. Very lightweight, no fog, and stylish. Can’t beat the price!!
The black lens is Category 4 lens (VLT 10%) for bluebird days. The yellow lens is Category 0 lens (VLT 75%) for overcast and grey days. If your eyes are not sensitive to light, this lens might be a bit dark for you. Personally, I can go even darker as snow is blinding me. Field of vision matches large lenses by Smith, Oakley, Giro and others. Swapping interchangeable lens is effortless with magnetic technology. I tested this in Mount Bachelor on a beautiful bluebird day. The black lens met my expectations, despite the fact that it does exhibit marginal greener hue compared to my collection of Smith, Oakley, Hurley and Spy lenses. Personally, I prefer a warmer splash of blue or red hue on my lenses. Same applies to the yellow lens, it exhibits marginal greener hue. In other words, it's not true yellow color. Likely, you will never notice the splash of greener hue, unless you have a collection of lenses and try the comparison side-by-side.
It’s a great fit. It’s dark but doesn’t feel dark when wearing it. The low light lens helps so much and is so simple to swap out. Overall great like the sunglasses.
My grandson was so happy to get his snow goggles.. They look great and he will be on his way to snow board..
