Perfect in their Simplicity

I'll confess when I first took a look at these joggers, I thought they were nothing special. There are no extra zipper pockets. The logo isn't made of reflective material. They aren't super plush like other brands. Then I put them on... wow! Without a doubt these are the best fitting joggers I have ever worn. More than that, they are perfectly balanced for actually working out in them. Extra pockets on joggers are too small to hold anything, a tiny reflective logo is not going to be any protection in the dark, and those plush joggers are too thick to actually use for exercise. In contrast these Outdoor Voices joggers are just made well for function. The material has stretch to it, but it's not that super light material that stretches, but I feel like I'm trying to run in a plastic bag. But, they're not so thick that you feel like you're wearing old school sweatpants. I really liked the elasticity of the drawstrings which I tried to show in the photo. It's perfect to feel like the joggers are secure on your waist, but there is give so that it doesn't feel binding. I also loved the ankles. I'm not a big fan of cuffed, elastic ankles on most joggers. The zip closure on these makes them secure so they're not flopping while you run, but you could still easily take them off over sneakers. Finally, I really like the cut of the legs. You can see the taper fit in the photos. Again, they're not so baggy that you feel them flopping everywhere while you're trying to run, but they're not so tapered that you feel like you're running in tights. These joggers are just perfectly balanced for actual activity. I've used them for running and climbing and I threw them in my day pack last night for a quick hike after work and when it was a little more breezy than I thought for just shorts, they were easy to pull out and slip over my shoes. I highly recommend these very well-made joggers.

Excellent pants, besides the tapered leg

I’m a firm believer in the idea that there are no bad days spent outside. All you need is the right gear. The Outdoor Voices running pants look for all intents and purposes to firmly fit that description. Breathable material- check, water resistant-seem to be, leg zips for possible venting- got ‘em. I want to love these pants, but for some reason, the cut of the tapered leg just isn’t for me. I love the pant material, but my calves felt squeezed into the lower pert of the pant leg to such a degree that I even went back to the website to make sure I don’t order the wrong size by mistake. I’m a new dad, so I’d be lying if I said I was in great shape and hadn’t recently put on a little extra padding, but I found the pants to fit in every other aspect besides the tapered leg. I wanted to give these pants a 5, but the tailoring just didn’t make the cut. If you have skinny calves, these are the pants for you. All other aspects from fit to material to breathability is great. Even the pockets! Tapered leg was just a bit too much for me at 6 feet 215ish lbs.

Great all-around pants for colder days!

Warm and comfy workout and all around pants! I used this on an early morning walk as well as a date night, they were fantastic. The waistband is nice and snug, the legs are slim and comfortable, and the pockets are the right size. The only thing I would say that is an issue is the breathability, but that's ok! This is more suited for winter or cooler weather.

Lightweight and stylish

I enjoyed these lightweight and stylish pants. They are great for hiking and lounging around the house. They are fairly skinny but made with plenty of stretch to allow movement on the trails and on the couch.

Can’t get me out of them

I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs, wear a 32x30 pant and a SM fits very well. These were roughly $80 full price and got them for $25. They are comfy and stretchy, I wore them for multiple days in a row and didn’t notice a problem. I wear them with my REI Sahara Hoodie and feel stylish and comfortable for any trail. Den outta Den would buy again.
