Great pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I have really enjoyed wearing the Brooks Canopy pant during my daily run. It is winter now so I layer with leggings then the canopy pants. They fit true to size and have not shrunk with washing. I follow the washing directions and wash in cold water but choose to hang dry. The pants are breathable and water resistant. I really like the zippered pockets to hold my phone and house key along with the drawstring waist. The bottom of the pants are straight legged and fit nice but if you like a looser pant at your ankles you can adjust with a zipper. I see myself purchasing more of these pants when the rainy spring weather arrives.
Great Outdoor Running Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with all the added features to the canopy pant. It has 2 zip pockets and within the right pocket it has a key pocket keeping my key in place without poking me during my runs. The stretch fabric is so comfortable & moved with me while active. The length of the pants are perfect with the pants stopping at my ankles just above my shoes. I am 5’8” and I got size small. The midnight run color is a beautiful navy & they have added a reflective logo to both the side & back for safety. I love the side zippers at the bottom on the pants. They made getting my compression socks on & off so easy. Definitely a must by for outdoor running!
Great Warmup Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canopy Pant makes a great training or warmup set alongside the Canopy Jacket. I got this set for my husband who runs about 20 miles/week. He’s 5’8 and 140lbs and the pants do seem a little big. He’s typically a Small but would recommend sizing down in this set. The length is perfect but the waist band and fit are a little looser than he’d like so he uses this more as a warmup/training set versus for running purposes.
Great Fit, Breathable Fabric, and Easy to Wear All Day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fit true to size and worked really well for my husband’s body type (he usually wears slim fit). The cut is flattering without being tight, and the fabric immediately stood out—it’s soft, lightweight, and surprisingly breezy. He wore it for a full day of running around and didn’t feel overheated or restricted. The material is water-resistant but not in that stiff, swishy way some performance fabrics can be. It has a nice amount of stretch, so it’s comfortable for everything from workouts to just being out and about. Another big plus: it packs down really small. It’s super lightweight and easy to throw in a bag, making it great for travel or on-the-go days when you don’t know what the weather (or your schedule) will bring. Overall, it’s a really solid piece—comfortable, functional, and still stylish enough to wear beyond the gym or out on a run. I especially love it as a set with the matching jacket and pants; it looks put-together without trying too hard.
Not what I was expecting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is not what I was expecting from this brand. The material is ok but makes alot of noise when working out. The item also runs huge, just something to keep in mind. Washes well, doesn’t shrink.
Comfortable running pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really comfortable and lightweight. Have worn these pants a few times on the trail and on the road. Seems to made of high quality material, as well.
Great running pant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are perfect for trail running! Not too heavy and not too light. Got the jacket to match and absolutely love. Will be wearing through out the year! Highly recommend
Fantastic Running Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are a great running pant. They felt warm running in 40 degree F weather without extra layers, and they seemed relatively windproof. The fabric was great on multiple runs, and I really didn't even notice the pants at all during my runs. The tighter fit at the bottoms kept them from rubbing on the other leg. They tapered down well, without feeling overly tight on my calves. The pants were true to size. They fit just right throughout, and they did not cause any rubbing issues from being too tight or too loose. The waistband was snug, and there is a drawstring to use if you want them extra snug. I used the drawstring when I was running with my cell phone in my pocket, but otherwise I ran with them without tightening the drawstring. There are zippers at the bottom pant cuffs to enable you to get your feet in and out easily if required, but I did not use them. The pants only had two front pockets, with the right pocket having a special insert in the pocket to hold your cell phone. My plus sized phone fit tightly in that pocket, and it did not move around at all during a run. This was the only location comfortable to hold a phone, since the phone bounced around too much in the main front pockets. The larger front pockets were better for holding keys. They have zippers to keep everything inside secure during a run. Overall, I think these pants are great running pants and a pleasant addition to my running attire. They keep your legs warm in colder weather without being too hot, and the moisture wicking material keeps them dry throughout. They were pleasant to run in inside on a treadmill too. I'd recommend them to anyone.
