REI Co-op  Active Pursuits Midweight Joggers

These pants are exactly what you'd want out of a pair of joggers. They're light, breathable, super comfortable, stretchy, with no fancy bells or whistles. I've been mostly wearing them around the house and for typical workout activities, like going on a run or playing tennis on a cold day. The cuffs of the legs are slightly elastic which helps keep them from waving around when moving. The pockets zip up which is great for being on the move. The outside texture of the pants have a sort of micro-fiber feel to them, so if you're not into that, I'd steer away. Overall, these pants are super solid, basic sweatpants, and if you're looking for a basic activity pant, here it is.

Another winner from REI. I wear a lot of sweatpants. I wear them to work out, for pre and post surfing trips, casual dress and just kicking around the house. These joggers bridge the gap between lightweight workout pants and heavy fleece bottoms. I have worn them to the gym on cool days, out to the market to pick up a few items and in the living room watching television with the family. They are functional, comfortable and versatile. They are made with a medium stretch fabric (7% Spandex) that is smooth and moisture wicking with a comfortable lining. They are roomy and free flowing, but not sloppy. The elastic waist and cuff are not too aggressive. I recommend these to anyone wanting an all purpose midweight set of joggers.

These joggers are very comfortable! I could have maybe sized down, the sizing is unisex, but the waist has a drawstring and they’re not overly baggy. Love the zipping pockets, the length is good (I’m 5’-9” and approx 140 lbs, and got a medium), and the fabric is warm enough for outdoor running in winter. Also great for lounging around the house!

Above all, these are comfortable and unrestrictive pants. I liked them for floor workouts, they didn’t hold me back from any exercise or stretch, but I found them just slightly too heavy and loose to use for running. The fit is generous. I’m a 36in waist in other pants sold by REI so I got an XL per the size chart. There’s enough material to billow in the wind and stack around the ankles. You can probably safely size down from the recommended size. The zippered pockets are secure but if you run while carrying anything the contents will bounce against your legs pretty aggressively. The elastic cuff isn’t uncomfortably tight and helps keep the chill out. The “midweight” designation is accurate, definitely not heavy but they feel bulky. . Still, they’re very comfortable. They could serve as pajama pants in a pinch. In mild conditions, they breathe well enough that I don't overheat while walking on a sunny, 60 degree day.

They are such a nice mid weight pant. If it’s cold you’d be more than comfortable layering with it. If you’re on the move they don’t seem like you’ll get too hot in them. I really enjoy the fit. I’m a girl and I feel like more often than not we don’t have zipper pocket options so these having them is really nice. Good size pockets too. I will say be careful with the sizing. I am a 5’1” girl weighing 125. I’m a 2 short in AE jeans and ordered my regular size of a small and they fit perfect. Nice amount of room, not too much bunched at the bottom. If you’re above 5’5” I’d be careful with the length But give them a shot for sure!!

Love the casual but not sloppy fit of these Gender Free joggers! Good job REI in creating a product for people - not a guy not a gal- just humans that come in all shapes- sizes and genders! The side seam zip pockets are nice and deep with a pocket in a pocket on one side some little things won’t jangle around. Inseam length is just right! Love that there are Shorts and Talls so these really are for all

Love the color, fabric and features. Not crazy about the fit. I think REI is marketing this to both men and women, so read the size measurements carefully. I ended up with extra small, which is a little surprising because I normally wear medium / size 6 or 8 in women’s.

Comfort is the best feature of these pants. Good for workouts or just around the house. I bought a medium and at 6', I wish they were a tad longer. However, very pleased with the pants so far after 1 month.

These joggers may be for you if you're looking for something that: - feels light, yet cozy (ie. not as warm as typical sweatpants, not as breezy as, say, linen) - can be worn at waist or lower on hips - has a shorter inseam (cropped/ankle length) COLOR: 'Ecru' is ever so slightly see-through-- maybe be mindful of what color undies you choose to wear w/ this particular color. FIT: Referred to size chart measurements, then sized up from unisex S to unisex M for loose fit; fits as expected. Tall people may want to take note-- jogger is cropped length; when worn at waist, pant leg ends just above ankle. For reference: 5' 6" female, legs are average length for height (sorry, dunno how to measure my inseam). POCKETS: Generous size. Zippers are convenient and slide up/down smoothly. CONSTRUCTION: Gusseted. Flatlock seams. Well constructed. MATERIAL: is thinner than initially expected (compared to typical sweats that have some plushness), but texture on the inside is soft and cozy. Fabric has some give, but not what I'd call 'stretchy' so, be mindful of hip measurement in regards to how you want these to fit/feel on the body. ** Note for those with Suuuper Sensitive Skin: these joggers felt a little prickly, to me. However, my skin is unusually (unreasonably) sensitive to fabrics/stitching/seams and prone to urticaria flare-ups. I believe the vast majority of people (like more than 99%) would find these joggers perfectly comfortable. May or may not suit those with ridiculously sensitive skin.

Perfect comfortable outdoor nature adventure pants. Wore these to explore the Olympic national park. Perfect for spring weather in the forest and on the coast. Comfortable fit, perfect temperature for day hiking. Never took them off 😁
