I bought a Radalie parka in Large several years ago, knowing it was a slim fit. When I went to replace it on 2023, I saw that changes had been made to the sizing. I bought the Large again because the Medium was too tight around my stomach, but the large feels too big in the shoulders and upper chest, and the sleeves are too long. I would suggest that Patagonia make a separate version for older women that widens the coat from the waist down without making the top larger. Even if we are still active, most women are not built like super fit 20 year olds, with small waists and narrow hips.
So tired of things being shown on super tall models who wear ridiculously small sizes, so you can’t see the length. I’m 5’6”, 140 pounds, and wear large, so this fits a few inches above my knees. Sleeves are much too long. Thicker than expected Patagonia revised fit based on feedback, so things fit differently. For me, things finally fit properly.
The Radalie Patagonia insulated puffer is the perfect length to cover hips enough to allow a lot of movement while enjoying the outdoors. .
Fits well and is not bulky. I like the longer length, 2 way zipper. The pockets have a cozy lining. I am happy with this jacket.
Frumpy fit and not packable. Patagonia, please bring back the nano-puff parka. Insulation seems stiff and reminds of cheap coats.
It’s a good jacket, just not very warm. It’s more of a long puffy/packable than a winter coat for intense weather. Fits well
