I think the fit was great and seems well insulated, however I never got the chance to try it out in real elements. When trying it on, I fastened the snow skirt to check the fit and when unsnapping it, the plastic snap broke off. It seems the plastic may be weak right where it grommets to the fabric. The fabric was fine, just the two sides of the snap broke off from each other. Bummer! I will be returning the jacket and while I liked all the features, I don't plan to replace it with the same one as I now don't trust the materials to withstand actual use on the slopes, over the long term.
Very warm. Appreciate the extra insulation (versus the regular Powder Town model), makes it easy to throw on over a sweatshirt to walk the dog when temps in the high-teens. Held up very well on a ski trip with temps in the 30s, comfortable and flexible and hood fits over ski helmet.
