Superb optical clarity.
Superb optical clarity - perfect low-light lens. This is my second pair of Smith Techlite glass for fly fishing. My other pair is a Guides Choice in amber. I used to be a Costa 580G guy but they were too heavy for all day use. Then I stumbled upon Smith Techlite Glass and combined with Chromapop and Polarization they were an easy match at half the weight. Now, add low light ignitor lens and it gets even better. I can easily fly fish in the blue hour under canopied stream cover and it actually brightens the scene. It allows me to fly cast safely in the lowest light. The built in retainer leash ports are the real game-changer here though - you can pull the little rubber plugs out of the arm tips and insert Smith's integrated keepers - no bump can be felt at the temple from the leash.
Smith makes awesome sunglasses
Great for paddling in different lights. Glass lenses make the view that much clearer. So happy to find the yellow lenses which are hard to find. Fit is a bit big for me but not so big they are fallen off.
