Flywheel Sunglasses

I bought the Flywheel glasses for the MidSouth 100 mile bike race. They were great! The glasses fit very comfortably and provided great protection along with maximum visibility. So far they have also been very durable. I was impressed that there was no scratches even after a 100mile gravel race with dust and mud. The bonus for me was that they also match my Trace SMITH helmet.

Solid Mountain Biking Glasses

Like the photochromic lenses, just wish they’d get a little darker in high light. Still perfect for 90% of the conditions here in central Oregon. They don’t block as much wind as I would have thought with their shape. But overall they’re really good mountain biking glasses.

Nailed It

Excellent. Oversized means at every angle I am looking through lens which is a big improvement over my older blade style. The lens changes tint for a range of overcast to partly cloudy or dawn/dust sun. These are the only pair I use so ride on sunny days too - they are fine but are best for something less than super bright conditions. Adjustable nose bridge is just brilliant. I didn’t know they adjusted at first and was thrilled to find out as it improved the fit a lot. Light and comfortable and stay in place with rubber pads. Price relative to others was good too. 5/5.

Flywheel functionality

Build quality is great, look & matte black color is understated. Full clarity during XC Mtb racing when conditions are dusty with lots of glare.

perfect biking glasses

Love the coverage these glasses give without any frame to interrupt your view. I don’t get any wind or dirt up in my eye, I love them! I have a small face and it’s hard for me to find glasses that fit so I’m very impressed.

Beware do not purchase without reading this !!

I purchased these flywheel based on quality and claim from company that they would stand behind their products and have filed a claim which they are saying they will honor. I use these only sporadically and on boat and take care of them but these glasses seem to be bad from start as the screw came off and they cracked. Now they state that it’s not covered under warranty. If you are purchasing based on their claim of quality and support save yourself the trouble DONT as you will be disappointed and left stranded like me.

Great for running!

These are fantastic! I love them. They have great coverage but they aren’t bulky or heavy. And they don't slip when I start sweating.

Light and Comfortable (GOAT)

I had to wear these glasses a few times before I could give them an honest review (I use them for road cycling) and now that I have, I can say that they are absolutely the best. The Flywheel glasses are light and comfortable and I don't even know they are on my face. They are made from quality materials and the ChromaPop lenses adjust to varying degrees of sunlight. My only complaint is that I wished they would have come with a hard case instead of the microfiber bag.
