The Hoodie for all Occasions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hoodie is hands down my first choice whenever I'm reaching for something long sleeve in my closet. It looks dressy and the black makes it easy to match with anything. Add in that it's actually functional for working out and long or short runs it's truly a hoodie that can be used for any occasion. I'm wearing it first thing after it's done being washed, and it's washed up so well you wouldn't think I'd worn it more than once. This is the perfect piece to add to a capsule wardrobe because you'll utilize it more than anything else you own you can just toss those out. The material itself is soft, breathable and light weight to fit all occasions!

Lightweight and warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Brooks Notch Thermal Hoodie 2.0. It has been perfect now that cold fronts are starting to come in. Living in Texas, I mostly run in the heat and am typically not a fan of the cold. This hoodie is a game chabger because I hate wearing a bunch of clothes when I run and this hits the sweet spot. It is light enough I don't feel weighted down, but warm enough I stay comfortable. One of the things I love most about it is the half zip. I love hoodies to keep my ears warm, and I also love fleeces so I can open the zipper a bit and cool off as needed and this has both, which is perfect! The only thing is I'm not a fan of thumb holes on a jackets since I don't use them, but I know a lot of people do so if you like that as well then you will love this jacket.

Light Weight, yet Warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new Notch Thermal Hoodie 2.0 for a couple of weeks now and it is really comfortable and cozy. They updated the fabric and it is very breathable yet keeps in the heat. I haven't had a chance to do any running in it yet, it's been too warm for a thermal. But when I do I am really looking forward to using the new watch pass thru. It's a little tight on my larger watch but will make it so easy to see my pace and distance. I have worn it around the house a few times and even out to a local brewery where we sat outside and it was perfect for the cooler temps once the sun went down. The only complaint I have is that there is no way to tighten the hood and I would assume that it will be a little floppy when running. I will have to update my review once I get a chance to run in it.

Perfect hoodie for fall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hoodie is great. It is warm but not hot. Super soft, some tech shirts can be itchy but this is not! I wear it all the time and it works great for all kinds of things even casual. I love the thumb holes and how it has two sets so you can cover your hands as needed the sleeves are also perfect for me. Usually sleeves are short as I am 6’ but even in the back thumb holes it is not tight. It is very breathable and flexible which keep it from impending motion. I love it and will be using it a lot.

Great product! Minor Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is outstanding for cold weather! The material effectively wicks moisture away from the body, the hood is tight enough that it doesn’t catch the wind but loose enough that it’s not uncomfortable, and the lightweight material keeps your body warm. This shirt does all of the things you’d hope a cold gear shirt would do, and it does it well! The only issues I have with it is that I’m not a fan of running with the hood bundled with the snap storage behind my neck. I find that to be uncomfortable. Additionally, the tag on the waistline was irritating my hip a little bit. Overall, this is a fantastic product, and I highly recommend it for 30-45 degree running weather.

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a delight of a hoodie. The fabric is super comfy, the hoodie fits great, it feels lightweight, and the fit is perfect, but I just can't say enough about how much of a pleasure it is to have that little watch window. It's not so big that it leaves your arm exposed, but it's big enough that can easily get to my (large) running watch without issue. Pocket is the right size for keys or ID, etc. Hoodie itself fits my head perfectly and the neck zips up enough to keep my neck warm when necessary. It hasn't gotten super cold yet where I live, but I anticipate being able to use this with a base layer and gloves down to 10-20F. Definitely my new go to 2nd layer for winter running.

Great addition to the cold weather lineup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Notch Thermal hoodie is a great cold weather sweatshirt for running! The material is super lightweight and soft but that does NOT affect how warm the hoodie keeps you in the cold weather. I wore it to run in the early morning when it was about 30 degrees outside and I was more than comfortable the whole time. I actually got warm towards the end of my run! The half zipper in the front of the hoodie actually works well to keep the wind off the neck which really helps keep you warm when it's windy. The well placed zipper pocket on the side works great to hold keys, etc. but probably too small for smart phone nowadays. The one thing I liked the most is the cut out hole in the arm for a smart/GPS watch! It's minor but a brilliant idea that allows you to keep your hands warm but also be able to see your watch without having to wear it on the outside of the sleeve.

Warm hoodie for a cold run

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've started running with my middle schooler to help her train for cross country. Compared this hoodie with a regular hoodie during a couple of our cold afternoon runs this fall. This hoodie, by far, kept me warmer, including my hands with its convenient thumb holes, and ears when I used the hoodie. Not only was it warm, it fits great and looks stylish! I have definitely worn this when not running too.

Nice Quality Hoodie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks made a really nice quality hoodie. The material is a cross between athletic moisture wicking type and a thermal ribbed type. Material is fairly thin, but provides surprising warmth due to thermal ribs. It’s great for running or outdoor exercise in cooler temperatures. I’ve been wearing it more as casual work/everyday attire. It provides about as much warmth as a long sleeve thermal shirt. I wouldn’t wear it in extreme cold but works well as a mid layer when temperatures are down. The thermal hood can be rolled up if you’re not using it. Medium size fits a 5’6”, 160lb male with athletic build very well. Sleeves and torso length are just right. Slightly form fitted with room for movement. Material is elastic and stretches. Zipper stash pocket and thumb holes are nice features. I’m very happy with the look and feel of this hoodie and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice athletic type hoodie.

Sleek and functional pullover hoodie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hoodie is functional for running in slightly cool climates. It is nice and stretchy and fitted enough to feel sleek and stylish, but not so tight to be uncomfortable or restrictive. The fit also makes this hoodie nice for casual wear for a slightly athletic look without looking like I just left the gym. The sleeves have thumb holes keep the sleeves from riding up and there is also a notch at the top of the wrist that provides a nice little opening to look at and use a smart watch, which isn’t a must-have but definitely nice to have (the opening has a little overlap so it doesn’t gap open).
