Brooks  Dash Cooling T-Shirt - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Brooks Men's Dash Cooling Short Sleeve Shirt, and I couldn't be happier with it. I run outdoors almost every day in the southern United States, so I look for shirts that are lightweight and help keep me cool in the heat. This shirt delivered on that and exceeded my expectations. It's lightweight, breathable, true to size, and has a great fit. I love how comfortable it feels during my runs, and the blue color looks fantastic. Of all the running shirts I own, this one is my favorite. I would absolutely recommend this shirt to anyone looking for a high-quality running top, and I would definitely buy another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shirt overall! There are definitely pros and cons. The shirt is true to size. I am a large and it fit great, not too tight or too loose. The v-neck was not my favorite, I prefer crew necks, but it wasn’t super deep. The fabric is very soft, stretchy and breezy! With that being said, it is a very thin material. Some runners might enjoy that, but I am not too much of a fan of such thin material. It is not see through though. It was great for runs because it wasn’t too tight on and the breeze would seep through the shirt.

I normally wear a large, and it fit well with more of a loose, boxy fit rather than a tight or fitted feel. I actually liked that because it allowed for better airflow and helped the shirt stay cool while running. The fabric felt great on the run. It was lightweight, flowy, and never felt stiff or restrictive. It didn’t feel hot, and I never had any concerns about chafing or irritation, even during longer runs. There wasn’t one feature that really stood out above everything else, but the perforations running from the sternum down to about mid-stomach were a nice touch and seemed to help with ventilation. Overall, the shirt performed well on my daily runs. It helped keep me from running hot and stayed comfortable throughout my workouts. It’s a solid lightweight running shirt that does what it’s supposed to do without being distracting.

Light weight, allows air flow, and keeps this dad bod nice and cool during the heat of summer. The shirt is true to size, and I love a little looser fit with the XL. Easy to clean and the quality has held up with dogs and kids tugging on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do most of my running on the road, and living in the hot and humid Midwest, I was excited to try the Mens Dash Cooling Short Sleeve. Let’s start with the aesthetics. I really like the blue haze color, and it pairs well with a variety of bottoms. The design is plain and sports a slightly reflective logo just below the collar, as well as a strip on the lower back. The short sleeve is true to size, but it is loose fitting. The fit works for me, as I prefer a looser fit when I run. The design and fit work for running, but it isn’t something that I would wear casually. While running the short sleeve feels very light, and it is not restrictive; however, it doesn’t do much “cooling” for me. The fabric doesn’t seem to let the breeze through, and it doesn’t wick away the sweat. Instead, the shirt sticks to the body once you stop moving. There are designed pinholes down the front of the shirt, but they don’t effectively add anything to help keep you cool as they’re too small to let the breeze through. Ultimately, the Mens Dash Cooling Short Sleeve has potential, but settles in at an average addition to my running wear.

The fabric feels cool the moment it hits your skin, and it wicks sweat fast without clinging. The fit is easy not boxy, not tight and the breathability makes longer runs feel less sticky. After washing, it kept its shape and softness. A reliable warm weather shirt that actually earns its “cooling” name.

The fabric feels great and really does keep you cool. It fits true to size and looks good. I typically prefer a tighter neck on my shirts, but for running and staying cool the looser neck on this is nice. I’d highly recommend.
