I sustained leg injuries in a serious accident, which in turn can cause issues with my feet, so I have to be very careful about the shoes I choose. These are balanced and have the support I need to continue doing the things I love. They are exactly what I needed. I would rate them higher but they have worn out very fast. I have had them less than a year, and they look like I have been wearing them for many years. Little holes have formed in them and the tread is worn way down.
Bought these for work because I'm on my feet for 12 hrs, and figured the heavy duty foot bed would make for happier feet. So far, so good. I think these would also be great for its intended purpose- I can feel the support in the heels, and the traction is solid. My feet are comfortable temperature-wise, as well. The size 7 fits perfectly with plenty of room in the toebox, which is essential for me.
I’ve worn only Asolo hiking boots for over 25 years. The GTX are my favorite, so much I purchased a second pair while on sale. The footbed is very cushy and offers great support. Still narrower than most hiking shoes but plenty of room in the toe box.
