Not quite
I've always wanted prAna pants to work for me but for some reason all their pants are super low rise which doesn't work for me. I was excited to order these pants thinking I would finally find my favorite all around versatile jeans I could wear hiking. Unfortunately, the fabric is not soft at all. It was kind of stiff and scratchy feeling. The rise was also more of a mid-rise on me, as I am tall and long waisted. They look nice, though, so I would have exchanged them for the tall sizing to see if those had a bit of a higher rise, had the fabric been comfier.
Three season comfort
The fit is sooo comfortable. I found it difficult to choose size do to the stretch but went with the smaller, and am v happy with it, with my smaller waist. They are not the ‘80’s version of high waist! I am 5’2” 124lbs, loving my size 6. I need to roll the hems up a couple inches but I like this look with my footwear. The stretch keeps them looking fresh. The pockets are large enough for my max phone, (back), & car fob (front). I like the dark colour and stitching to match. The fabric is light, nice for spring, summer or fall. These strides are perfect for bending and moving when I work with my dog
Runs large
Just bought these, had to go elsewhere to try on as I read the sizing is off. It is. The classic Kayla is usually a size 2-4 for me, reg length. In these high waisted ones I took a 0/25 short. I’m 5’6 and 126lbs, narrow hips. Perfect fit. I wish rei had all the colors, I’d get them all.
Nice fit and comfortable
I always have a difficult time finding pants that fit in the waist and aren’t baggy in the rear. I have a short torso and big waist. The region pretty much melds so I just have the tiniest area of “waistline”. I cannot comfortably wear size 14 because even though I can button, it’s annoying to feel tight in the waist. The thing is 14 fits perfect in the rear. So, I trade off opting for comfort, size up to 16 and here we have comfy in the waist and baggy in the rear. It’s not the best look. Well, I have just resigned myself to this fact …. until …. WoW! Loving these pants! Nice fit in the waist as they are a high rise and no baggy rear. They have stretch and are very comfortable. The length is just below my ankle. I like the color; I would call it charcoal. I wear them for leisure and to work at my casual office. You can dress them up. I wish there were other color options. Highly recommend.
Nice fit, runs big
I read the previous review and sized down, and glad I did because they fit great. I'm normally a size 2 but the 0 fit fine. I'm also 5'6" and the short is the perfect length.
Wasted Waist
My go to brand didn't make my cut this time. High waisted waist was too loose. By the time I find some that fit, they probably will be out of style anyway.
Great fit
Not tight, not baggy. Even the short size is a tad long for 5'4" me.
