Missed the mark
I was expecting the anchor to be a solid piece of plastic or metal that could sit under my phone case- this is an adhesive strip folded over on itself (which is also peeling apart) that is too bulky to fit in a case the way it was designed. From what I can tell, it doesn’t interfere with MagSafe charging, but it causes the phone case to pop off- which is worse. I’m keeping it because the clip and strap are perfectly fine and I’ll use them elsewhere- I’ve already been using the locking S clips and am a fan. Just a bit sad this product doesn’t work as intended.
Love it!
Purchased for my partner who is disabled. He often cannot carry things so it is really helpful to be able to put on his wrist. I loved it so much for him that I bought one for myself. Easily fits between the phone and case. We use both android and iphones and it works for either.
it works
If I don’t want to hold my phone; I just clip it onto my lanyard. Very handy if I need to use the bathroom and have no where to put down the phone!!
Handy! No pun intended!
I've been using one of these with my phone for over 2 years and finally need to replace it since the material between card in my phone and the ring is getting worn. I work outdoors and find it helpful not only keeping my phone attached to me but easily accessible when taking photos. Besides the material wear, the little NI(moon) symbol piece wore quickly so it is a silver copper finish now. FYI I'm a rancher and first responder SAR so I utilize my phone a lot and feel safe using the strap.
Useful
Easy to install and it stays out of the way of charging, etc. I don’t always use or want the strap on all the time, but all in all a useful product,
Unusable
I was so excited to receive this. However, the anchor part, at least, needs to be redesigned. I tried 3 different cases and all of them didn’t fit correctly with this in. One of them, the case popped off and my phone fell out when I held the strap. Such a great concept, but unfortunately I have not been able to use this product.
The handiest product I didn't know I needed!
Works perfectly with my iphone 14 Pro Max and Otterbox Pop Symmetry phone case. No issues whatsoever with product causing phone to fall out of case - fits snug and safe. The locking "S" clip is sturdy and the strap is easily removable.
Nifty and Affordable
The flap thing isn't adhesive like I thought but it still works great in between my phone and case. I paired this with a cardhold pop socket so I have my phone, keys, and wallet all togheter, it's so nifty to travel light!!
Help
Is there supposed to be an adhesive? There are no directions anywhere. I have the Apple brand case for the 14 max pro and the black pad just slides right out of the bottom.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our Hitch Phone Anchor + Strech. There is not an adhesive with the Hitch Phone Anchor, but we would be happy to help you troubleshoot. Please reach out to us at info@niteize.com and we would be happy to help you out.
No thanks
Holding my phone with the wristlet hanging off of it felt weird and it was constantly in the way. It affected the way my phone charged.
