Heavy or light the items stayed and the clip didn’t falter. I wasn’t concerned about losing anything. Would definitely use this for clamping or hiking

The S-Biner SlideLock, in both aluminum and steel versions, is one my favorite NiteIze products. Any less than 5-star review is most likely the result of misapplication: aluminum is not as strong as steel, and a smaller size is not as strong as a larger size. The convenience is in the Dual Carabiner. One end stays attached to the anchor point--a belt loop, backpack strap, hook, etc. The other end holds the object you need to grab and use. The SlideLock gates allow for one or both carabiners to remain locked. I keep a couple of these attached to daypacks and backpacks ready for immediate use. Clip your light stuff so you don't lose anything!

Slide locks are super convenient I use it primarily as a key ring/clip and attach it on a belt loop and quick release said keys as needed.

I never realized how convenient an S-Biner could be and the slidelock gives me confidence that nothing will slip out. This is my go-to for attaching my water bottle to the D-ring of my paddleboard. I have a second on for keys. The slidelock, when put in lock position, prevents the biner from opening. And since its an S with two biners, I know that whatever I have dangling with stay secure, even if I unlock the other side.

Generally I love S-Biners for holding anything so I used one to convert my dog’s rope leash to a hands free configuration. Major mistake. Yesterday she pulled this one at my waist all out of shape end to end. Neither wire gate can reach its seat anymore. Would love to see a force-rated version of these come available as the design is really convenient.

Easy one hand operation. I use these while saddle hunting to attach gear and equipment to my saddle and packs together. When climbing a tree and setting steps as you go. It is critical to have quick, and easy access to your gear.

This S-Biner #3 is great for use on hunting gear, to carry medium flashlights, to hold calls, small to medium sealable water bottles at the stands. It also is great for larger keys, and many more uses. A+ product
