Bought these because I have developing cataracts & was having difficulty reading the snow due to glare flare. Moved up from standard goggles. Took my midwest skills to Big Sky and tested them for 3 days; got a full range of light. They worked extremely well; both in reading the snow and enjoying the mountains. Light adjustment in partly cloudy conditions was barely noticeable and not annoying. Comfortable. Well worth the money as survival gear.
So, I've been riding with the Zeal Portal goggles for a couple years and loved them. I heard about this new birds eye view tech they're doing now and grabbed a pair of these. I haven't used them yet, but holy smokes the vertical peripherals are substantially better than anything out there. So pumped to shred with these this winter!
I've been snowboarding for 25 years and these are the most comfortable goggles I've ever worn. I have a small/medium face. They fit my face great and work well with my helmet with no gap. No snow goes inside the lenses so they never get fogged.
The Zeal Lookout Goggle is one of my absolute favourites. It is comfy, looks stylish and fits with my helmet great. Look good, feel good! Once they made this goggle, there was no turning back. The rail lock system for changing the lenses is a game changer. Say goodbye to cold fingers! The rail lock system makes it SO easy to change out the lenses when the light/weather changes and now I can spend more time enjoying the slopes then worrying about the long process of switching out my lenses. Would highly recommend this goggle.
This set of Zeal snow goggles performed very well. I used the clear lens for 2 days on the mountain with light to moderate snow and fog. They worked great. I used the automatic+ lens for 2 days on the mountain with blue skies and bright sunshine and they also worked great. I highly recommend these snow goggles.
amazing goggles, super clear and fits well with multiple helmets (smith and giro). if you dont know, zeal is made by MAUI JIM, some of the best sunglasses in the industry. 10/10 quality product. they're polarized and have amazing contrast for you to see all the bumps/moguls etc.
We purchased these for our son and he loves them. He skies long days and keeps both lenses on him to swop out at the top of the mountain if the weather changes. His favorite feature is the ODT design as he skies the steeper terrain and appreciates the extra visual clearance.
I have owned a few zeal products over the years. Decent goggles but terrible customer support. They also do not stand by their guarantees (experienced this twice now). Go with another brand for the price
Zeal's Automatic+ photochromic lens is awesome, not having to worry about changing conditions and still able to see. The Rail Lock System is smooth when you do need to swap a lense.
My favorite goggles out of every one I’ve tried. No fogging and allows for long days on the mountains. Definitely would recommend these goggles!
