Great Fit, Awful Quality
These gloves fit great and a super comfy. Maybe a little ugly though. After dealing with major quality issues on these, I tried my Fox Ranger gloves again, and man are the Dakine ones so much better. Speaking of quality issues, I've logged 5 2h rides on these so far without crashes or the gloves ever touching the ground, and the stitching has failed in the following places: left index finger tip, right wrist under palm (tore out on first ride, even though I used the reinforced pull tab to put them on), right wrist on side below thumb, left back of hand behind thumb. The brake lever grippy material on the left index finger has already flaked apart as well... It's pretty shocking how poorly these are made.
Fits Like a Glove
I've used these heavily over one MTB season and am very pleased. They have held up very well and I will be buying more of these for sure! They do start out a bit snug but stretch to fit just perfect after a few rides. Good grip and no annoying inside seams like some other MTB gloves I've used in the past. Good stuff. Dakine is becoming my favorite clothing brand. I have been impressed every time I purchase anything from Dakine. I say this as I always loved Pearl izumi previously but started exploring other brands as I haven't been as impressed in the last few years by their products.
Awesome all around glove.
They're bike gloves, but I have a dog walking business and do handy man work. These are great all around gloves. Best I've owned honestly. They keep your paws warm enough with great dexterity. Being able to pull out your cell and operate it with the index finger and thumb of it are a huge plus. I dig them.
Maybe a little lightweight, but good feel
I think the palms are a little lighter-weight than they used to be, but they have a good feel to them. I did tear the palm on one glove, but it was a pretty hard fall and the gloves did their job of protecting my hands. So, I ordered another pair (actually, two pairs).
Does the job!
Not a thick glove and no padding, but i knew this. Exactly what i wanted!
worth buying
excellent gloves, still grippy after hard days sweat.
My favorite glove
+ No velcro. Rubbery tab at wrist to make gloves easy to slip on. + Light weight and cool. I like a glove that feels good on the grips. Theses do. + Durability: After ~6 rides, so far so good. - Not a lot of protection when you hit the dirt.
Tight
A little too tight than advertised but they have good material
Snug fitting, well made, great feedback.
The fit fit is extremely snug. My hands fall on the smaller end of large, and the large size is a very tight fit. Finger length is perfect. Once on, they do feel right sized, but getting them both on and off requires a bit of extra care to avoid excessive stress on the seams. The glove appears to be very well made, however, and I see no signs of failure after numerous rides. Feedback is excellent. I both feel protected and connected.
Good Grip/Protection. Not Too Sweaty.
These have kept my grip tight and my hands pretty. Not an easy task for how often I bite it. They're also really thin for how tough they are so my hands aren't sweating up a storm on hot days.
