Best Run Vest
I love this vest. I have used it many times for my trail races, and daily runs. I love to get another one in another colour.
Simply perfect
An incredible vest, I started using it with great satisfaction, still mild temperatures and even now that the cold has arrived it is irreplaceable. Soft fit, but snug, warm but breathable, very practical pockets and the great advantage of having a hood: for me absolutely an irreplaceable garment!
Best Vest Ever
I've tried them all - Patagonia, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, North Face. The Alpha90 vest is the best-looking, most versatile vest I've had when it comes to winter layering and even casual use. I like it so much I bought it in two colors. It doesn't have quite the athletic slim cut like a Nano-Air vest, and I'm so glad. While I would choose the patagonia nano air if I was going to run in the winter, that's about the only time I'd choose it over the Lyngen. Its super warm and you don't notice it there, the hood is functional, and the interior is ridiculously soft. I wear it over a flannel all winter long, and over the Alpha Raw hoodie when skiing (lofoten pro shell over them both.)
Don’t wait until your near forty!
This is my first proper active layering vest. It’s great. Breathes well, wind proof. I really like the hood to help manage temps when trying to find that happy operating level. Pockets are properly sized to hold what you need to. Quality craftsman ship. I got size Large and am 6’3 185lbs, fits perfect.
Cool Jacket for Ski Touring!
I recently took this jacket on a ski tour up to 3000m and it performed flawlessly. Paired with a Norrona long-sleeve shirt, it was the perfect combination. I found it to be ideal in temperatures ranging from -3°C to +10°C with minimal wind. Highly recommend!
Just what I need..
I use it for split boarding, and it’s just what I need to go up.. very thin but keep my body heat very well, perfect !!
Super functional kit
I bought this mainly for mountaineering and some climbing. I run an Adventure company in Scotland, and am outside in the elements most days. The weather here can be brutal. I understand the importance of light weight clothing, and layering systems to regulate heat, sweat and cold. This vest is just fantastic - incredibly light weight, it has a slim fit [for me], its super warm, but you don't overheat, its very well made and importantly has a hood. I really can't recommend it enough. Just watch the sizing - I am size L in all my Norrona clothing, but this could maybe have been a size XL if I wanted to use it over another jacket, rather than just over a base layer. Get this vest in your mountaineering rucksack - you won't regret it.
Amazing service and product
I brought the lyngen alpha90 after looking for a while. Am am VERY happy with the product. Firstly the service was excellent with quick delivery and excellent package/ information. Secondly the product. The fit is perfect i brought M and am 5'8 and 88kg it fits great over a jumper/ t-shirt and is lightweight but very warm. Pockets and hood are excellent and it feels very well built/ constructed. I have only had it a week but could not be happier. Will be buying from you again.
Geat vest
Very comfortable and just the right warmth if you need to wear something while moving around in the spring or ski touring uphill. Also doubles as a good midlayer. The only negative thing I have to say about the vest is about the pockets. One of them was sewn shut (I could't open it all the way). I managed to undo the stitching and sew the pocket the way it was meant to be. Since then, I have had no issue with the vest and absolutely love it.
A really useful vest for many outdoor activities
I got my Lyngen alpha90 a few months ago. Had in mind that I would use it as a warm layer under my hardshell for Alpine skiing, and it was perfect for that. I also used it for cross country skiing in cold condition and it works great for that too. It is warm, but is really well ventilated, and keeps dry even in high intensity levels. So comfortable, I use it almost daily over a fleece hoodie. Mine is a beautiful red color.
