- 40 g recycled synthetic insulation body-mapped at front and collar optimizes warmth without bulk—and works with your body to prevent overheating on your run
- Highly durable ripstop nylon shell fabric has a nonfluorinated durable water repellent (DWR) to help moisture bead up on the surface
- Ripstop nylon panels at back, shoulders and sides are highly breathable and water- and wind-resistant
- Close-to-body fit with built-in mechanical stretch for ease of movement
- Zippered chest pocket for essentials like your phone, cards or lip balm
- Zippered hand pockets; internal clip in the right-hand pocket for securely attaching your key
- Stretchy, drop-in side pockets stash snacks and cold-weather accessories like a hat and gloves; entire vest can pack down into a side pocket

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Excellent Travel Vest

Outstanding product. Marketed for running, however I wear it around town, and especially like it when traveling. It is extremely light, yet provides a bit of welcome warmth in cold, drafty planes and airports. Also, the 2 zippered hand pockets are perfect sized for my phone on one side, and wallet on the other--and the zipper means that nothing is going to inadvertently slide out of those pockets into the airplane seat, a cab, or whatever. I also like that the cut of this is not overly long on the torso, so it "sits" well. Layers nicely too and is easy to wash. Negatives? Maybe a slightly larger primary zipper, but that's it. I own this in both the blue and the black colors.

This would have been a 5/5, but the overly large REI logo on the chest and lack of interior pockets are both disappointing. The vest is a great weight and remarkably warm when the sun goes down. The zippers work well, and the chest pocket is nice.
