I love that it's windproof and has water-resistant panels, so it’s perfect for battling chilly winds and light rain. It's semi-fitted so it doesn't feel tight and gives room for lots of movement. The zippered hand pockets have been a blessing for stashing my phone, keys, and other essentials safely and hands-free. The reflective logo adds extra safety during early morning or late-night walks. Overall, it’s well-ventilated, very functional, offers just the right amount of warmth for any outdoor or indoor activity, and the comfort I look for in a performance vest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of the Brooks 3.0 hybrid vest. It feels light, and has warmth, but not too hot. I am 6 foot, and the soft, stretchy fabric around the sides and back make the fit ideal. The stretchy, vented material is a nice feature. I love the pockets; I could easily fit my phone and key fob. It is true to size, the style with slightly longer in the back is my favorite part. Zipper is smooth. It works great for an early morning run outside in cool fall weather and then a layered look for doing errands and even for the work day! In summary, I really love this vest and plan to wear it often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vest fabric is great quality and I really like the length; the fabric on the sides and back are softer than the "slickness" of the front and I really like that. It feels like you're wearing a nice quality sweatshirt through the body. It's a perfect weight to layer under as needed. I ordered with the understanding it was a male oriented vest, but the sizing was still acceptable. My only dislike is the width/cut of the shoulders; the shoulder area is very wide and sticks out which is the only part that makes it obvious to me it's a male vest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been enjoying this vest quite a bit. It’s lightweight, but warm and comfortable without getting too stuffy. I like the style and it fits well, thanks in part to the stretchy fabric around the back. The two zippered front pockets are roomy, with a little inner pocket inside the right pocket for smaller items. Plus, there is lots of extra pocket space inside the vest, on both sides. While it would have been nice to have one more small zippered upper chest pocket for glasses or the like, it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, I’d recommend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vest is great! The fabric was much softer and more comfortable than other vests we have gotten for my husband. It runs true to size my husband is in between a large and xl but very tall so we got him an x-large and it fit well. My husband loved the black color because he doesn’t train at night and doesn’t like very bright and flashy clothing. It is getting to be a little chilly in the mornings when we run and this is a great lightweight but warm vest to take the morning chill off, but not too heavy so that you overheat once you get warmed up. I was pleasantly surprised how soft the fabric is, the pockets zip up so things don’t fall out while your running. Overall this vest is very comfortable, warm and lightweight, I would definitely recommend it!

I live in the Midwest so it gets pretty cold sometimes. I love that it is insulated and keeps me warm on cold mornings. With 80g of Thermolite, it traps in warm air while wicking away moisture from my skin. It is windproof and water-repellant which is perfect for me. It also has a tall collar that helps keep the wind out. It is true to size and fits me well. The back is made of breathable spandex. I like that there are zippered pockets located on both sides of this vest with a stash pocket for small items located inside the outer pocket. There are also two inner pockets as well. It has a zipper and snap closure for added protection from the elements. The zipper is easy to pull up and down thanks to the extended pull attached to it. It's also easy to snap and unsnap with no hang-ups. Brooks has thought of everything when making this vest. It even has an elastic loop sewn into the back collar for easy hanging. It can be machine washed and tumbled dry on low heat.

Now that it is fall, I've been running with it on in the occasional cold, rainy, wet, and windy mornings and it's the best weight for not keeping me too hot or getting too cold. It's got great insulation for warmth, but also vents to keep you from overheating on your most intense workouts. I love the large zip pockets too! This vest is great to wear anytime/anywhere! A must have in your outerwear rotation!

Live in the Midwest and it’s pretty chilly in the fall, especially at 7 am when I like to run. The vest was comfortable and lightweight. I’d didn’t rub at all under the arms like some of the other vests I’ve previously purchased. I didn’t overheat either which is another plus. I also like the simple design and feel of the fabric. This will definitely be in my rotation for the foreseeable future.

The fabric is so soft and durable, it’s for sure going to be a new staple in our house! Especially since we are now living in a much, much colder area! The style is nice and functional, which is great! The pockets are big enough to fit some essentials and my husband will likely be wearing the vest to work since he’ll be working outside.

Perfect, light-insulation vest for running, walking, and hiking. Lots of pockets, including interior ones to hold gloves or even a water bottle. Material feels smooth and comfortable around the neck. What distinguishes this from other vests is heat regulation. The two snaps hold the vest together when fully unzipped. Size is spot-on, and the stretchy sides adjust to any layers. The blue is beautiful.
