Very comfortable vest, packs down smaller than a 1L bottle into its own chest pocket. I like the waist hem tightening system where the excess cord ends up in the 2 outside pockets; that way there is no excess cord hanging below the hem to get snagged. Shoulder holes do not have elastic, which I like. Excellent quality that served me well on a 12 day Europe trip with coldest temps around 40F.

I recently purchased this vest from REI because it ticked off all of the boxes I was looking for: Double zipper on the front, chest pocket for mobile phone, zippered side hand pockets and it can be packed into its own pouch. It is light weight and warm and exactly what I was looking for. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the front zipper. It's on the left side instead of the "traditional" right side. Not a big issue, but when I have zipped it up, I've found that I need to be careful so it doesn't catch/jam the thin poly material. These are small quibbles, but since the Fjallraven vest is valued at a premium price I expected everything to work flawlessly. It is possible to purchase a couple of "fast-fashion" vests for the price of this one, albeit with some of the features missing. I still expect to enjoy it as the days get cooler, and be careful when I zip it up. It is a well-made, quality garment, with a small design flaw.

Bought this as a last minute vacation item for London in the spring. It served me well. Very lightweight and packable. It was a great layering item to keep me warm. Not heavy, perfect for under a coat or on it's own.

Very much my go-to vest. I really enjoy it for just being home or for hiking. It feels a bit light in padding around the neck, but other than that, it's awesome. Sizing, I am 5'11 and 170, and the medium fits well.
