Brooks  Momentum Thermal Vest - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice fitting puffer. If you like to layer; it will go over a 1/4 zip type top. The sides breathe really well. The front and back are typical puffer thickness, but the sides are thin with no down. It allows all your heat out when you get going on a hike or walk. Great for morning hikes when you don’t want to shed layers yet. It allows the excess heat out rather than giving you a layer to hold while finishing the hike. Runs a tad small. Probably somewhere in between a medium and large from other brands. I have a large. I like that the pattern is uniques and different on the puffer material.

The thermal fabric keeps my core warm in cooler temperatures while still allowing excellent breathability, so I never feel overheated. The vest is lightweight, fits true to size, and layers easily over a shirt or under a jacket when it's especially cold. I also appreciate the quality construction and thoughtful design, such as having stretchy fabrics on the sides, which makes it comfortable for both running and everyday wear. It has 4 large pockets to store my necessities (2 large inner pockets without zippers and 2 large outer pockets with zippers). Within the right outer pocket, there's a small pocket for holding keys so that it's not bouncing around while running. Overall, it's a well made, stylish, and functional piece that performs exactly as advertised.

The vest is true to size but has some stretch to it so it moves well with the body during a run. It has two pockets on the outside, one with a key holder and two inner pockets to hold a phone. Overall, this is a great running vest and I look forward to running in this during the cooler months.

While I haven't used this for any active exercising like running, biking, trail running, etc. I love how it feels for casual wear. The sizing is spot-on and fits super well. I went with a large because I don't like clothes to be too tight and the fit was perfect. I'll be trying this for running soon, but for now I'd give it 5 stars for fit, comfort, and style.
