Good quality, weird fit
The quality of the helmet is definitely high. However, to put the M/L size on my head, I'd probably need to hire someone to pummel it on with a hammer. It's just that small (narrow?). I haven't had this problem with size M helmets from Giro, Mavic, and Smith so I'm at a loss. I'd understand if M was too small, but this is M/L. Already with this one on I look like a bit of a mushroom. I can only imagine how comical XL/XXL would look.
Close but not quite
I wanted to love this helmet. It’s lightweight, well-ventilated, with the perfect color and a great visor for mountain biking. Unfortunately my head measures 54cm around and this helmet in size XS/S still feels big, even after cinching all the adjustments.
Very impressed
This is the best fitting helmet I’ve ever worn. It’s snug in all the right places and the strap actually falls on the correct spot on me. I have a very small head for an adult (ugh) and the XS/S is perfect. Super lightweight and comfortable, plus the color is fantastic. Hope I never have to actually test it.
Great helmet
Light and comfortable, luckily don’t plan on testing it.
Good Build
It’s is good quality build overall. It just runs a little narrow. I have problem to put the helmet on if I had a beanie on.
Good fit on my oval head
Giro helmets usually fit me well because my head is not round: I got one of those longer front-to-back heads. I also wear glasses and this helmet fits well with them. Only negative I can think of is that some low-sun conditions make me wish the visor could be pushed down lower. So I just look down a bit more and it is fine.
Fits well and does a great job if you fall
This is a nice helmet, super adjustable and comfortable to wear. I came here to buy another helmet after falling a week ago. This helmet did a great job protecting my head and kept me from getting a head injury. I've been using it since 2022 so I got a good 3 years use out of it.
Careful with Sizing
I love this helmet and wanted to give it 5 stars, but went with 4 because of a sizing issue I didnt expect. I wear a large in Smith and figured the M/L would be the right size. It was way too small and I ended up having to bump up to XL.
