Bontrager  Quantum Mips Bike Helmet

this is my first time buying an expensive riding helmet. I usually get one from Amazon but wanted to try expensive one. It is definitely lighter and fits better. I highly recommend getting one for yourself.

l have owned several helmets of different brands and never liked wearing them because they were uncomfortable or didn't quite fit right. This helmet is amazing! I put it on, adjusted it, and actually forgot I was wearing it - it fits that well.

Need a bike helmet and out of the different brands and styles this one was the most comfortable and easiest to adjust.

Good coverage, decent airflow, and great reflective elements on the side/back. I think the Boa cable will hold up better for me than the plastic part most helmets use; those parts led to the demise of my two previous helmets. The Boa cable's flexibility should help it last. Size medium fits my 58cm/23" head well, with or without longer hair. My only qualm is that the strap doesn't stay tight (mostly when clipped onto and swinging from my backpack strap) and needs to be readjusted more often than I'd like.

Helmet is easily adjustable. I like that it comes with some reflective deigns on the back. Ventilation seems fine.

This bike helmet is an excellent value. I have the black one which looks great, and is comfortable on my head and provides plenty of ventilation. I had no difficulty adjusting the straps to ensure it stays firmly in place. I love the fact that it's Mips, but hopefully I will never need to take advantage of that feature. I'd say the sizing is small. I ordered mine online, after measuring my head and was firmly in the small size but had to exchange it for a medium. If you can go try them on in store.

I love the helmet but have trouble unsnapping it. Would recommend getting getting the magnetic clasp

I crashed my bike a few months ago badly breaking my elbow and cracking several ribs. The Bontrager helmet took the brunt of the force on my head. Because of the helmet I escaped with only a minor concussion. Thanks for a helmet that works as it should.

This helmet fits well and is very comfortable. The visor is key for early morning rides.

Great feel and security. I was in a bike accident (hit n run with a car) and had the Solstice version (size S/M) and it saved me a concussion. The Quantum feels more secure of a fit actually and I love the visor length. The only thing is helmet sizing. I got a Small as that is what I normally wear in other styles but this one will only work if I don't wear anything underneath it. So it is good in the summer, but in the winter months when I wear an extra hat layer it won't work. Too bad. The medium will likely be too big.
