[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old son prefers the weight of this jacket/brand. We upgraded to this coat this year and after 3 months, there is already a rip in one of the seams on the shoulder. Very disappointed in the quality and short time it took for a seam to tear.
Show-Stopper
This jacket was a present for my nephew and as soon as he opened the box he was thrilled. The colors and design were spectacular and it has great insulation where you can still breathe. He wore it at his family's Christmas party and it was an ultimate show stopper that everyone asked him " where can I buy this NorthFace", and we told them about The North Face store online.

My son just turned 8 he's 49" tall and weights 62 lbs the coat is a Small and fits perfect ! First Impressions or how cool it is. He liked the style and how it is reversible. He liked the detail and the color because it's close to the color gold. LOL.

This is the 2nd time I bought this!
After buying this jacket for my grandson & his brother wearing it as a hand me down, the jacket was used for 4 years and served us WELL!! Love the reversible factor, used that several times over 4 yrs, believe me. I now bought the jacket for my now 8 yr old grandson & fully expect that his 5 yr old brother will use it when the the time comes. VALUE. Oh. & my grandsons love it & day it's comfortable.
Perfect Everyday Winter Jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this coat for my 5.5 year old son. It fits great with room to grow! He's average height snd weight for his age and this for comfortably with room for a light sweatshirt underneath for extra cold days playing outside. He's gotten much use it out of it so far. The pockets keep his hands warm and the zipper is easy to glide on and off his little hands- even when he's wearing mittens!
I may buy this every year as my son grows
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son is an amputee, which for him affects balance and dressing. Almost every kid pulls their sleeves through when taking a coat off. It's hard to describe how much it helps for him to just be able to put the coat on no matter which way the sleeves are facing. It looks great and is really warm. This is our go-to coat and I plan to buy bigger sizes!
A winner!
This coat was a birthday gift for my son. He absolutely loves it! Red is his favorite color, and he loves that he can reverse it whenever he wants. It is lightweight, but warm, so he can still easily play sports outside without complaint. The sizing chart was very helpful too. He should be able to wear this next year as well!
Buy over and over again
My son has been wearing same jacket for 4 years. We buy the next size up every year. He loves it as do we. Warm, loves the color and easy to put on and off. He is not cold waiting for the bus for school. Love the fact it's reversible to switch bit up. Easy to wash also. Will buy again next year! Thanks North Face!
My son loves this jacket!!!
Ordered this jacket for my son for the winter. He loves how light weight it is and yet it still keeps him very warm. He also loves that it is reversible so he can change his style up a bit. We received it just in time for the cold Minnesota winter. I would definitely recommend this jacket for school age kiddos.
