First Trip , What a Disappointment!!

I bought this end of last year and never got it out . Just brought it on vacation for it's maiden voyage and immediately right out of the box I was disappointed with the quality . Bubbled seems paint scheme off the nose isn't even over glued areas seeping out everywhere. Off course since it's now a few months old I'm sure I'm stuck . To cap it all off the paddle I was giving my son a ride and stuck the paddle in the water to slow down and the paddle snapped at the base where the paddle is epoxied into the shaft, which the shaft seems to be fiberglass where the top and bottom of the paddle are carbon fiber . This thing is entirely too expensive to have this kind of quality issues . I only wish I would have looked at it right when I got it . Probably just leave it here so I don't end up in a dangerous situation with this thing failing on me .

Pure Disappointment

I purchased this last year and just opened it on our first vacation since COVID .Right from the begining I was seeing things that I didn't like with the quality. Seams are bubbled around the entire board .While this may not affect use initially it eventually will and you don't see it on high quality boards (ie RED ) The Paint Scheme has small defects and misalignments throughout the board. The nose of the board is crooked and causes it to track a little off . Almost as if the top and bottom pieces were not cut to size matching . There is over glue dried , left around deck pad and throughout the board. The bag is a cheap thin material with a bad zipper that won't last 2 trips through TSA. The pump squealed and had to be rebuilt and lubed to even work before we could go out 1 time . While all these things were disappointing they were not enough to make me sit and write this review on my vacation. The kicker was the paddle. I had my son on the board and stuck the paddle in the water to slow and turn . The force from the water alone snapped the paddle head off from the main tube. The main tube ,which is made from fiberglass, split down the side and the epoxied in carbon fiber paddle head fell out and floated away . At this point the boards quality is putting me in a position I shouldn't have to worry about with my family on board . I own 4 paddle boards 2 other Red inflatables and cheaper hardboard , they are all maintained very well and kept in a conditioned garage . I have never had a board or paddle break . I've also never wrote a negative review of anything in case someone may think me as "that guy" whom is completely unreasonable and impossible to appease While I understand this isn't the most expensive board available it's certainly not the cheapest and I expect more for $1300.

Great Board

This board is awesome! I take my girlfriend and myself on it all the time. We do a lot of fishing off the board together, which is why we got such a big board. It is very stable and holds the two of us, as well as some light fishing gear very well. She has enough room to lay down on the board, while I sit off the end and fish as well! I have noticed that it is hard to find attachments to utilize with the screw mounts on the board. The pump also broke after about 4 uses and only pumps to about 6 to 7 psi. Overall the board is amazing, but you might have to buy a new pump later on.

Nice board - Broken pump

So much fun! Unfortunately, this is much harder to pump up than I had imagined, and now after using it about 6 times the pump seems to be broken.
