[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I love the Bote lineup but my last 2 boards both started getting air bubbles in 2 places. Both boards got air bubbles under the magnepod and 1 board under the big Bote emblem at the back. Both boards were used only once before that happened.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick to fill and held me and son up no issues. Deflated and packed back up in no time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this is great quality for a great price. The handles in front and in back are so helpful on river floats especially when being helped in and out at the river. Super steady. The pump is better quality than pumps from my cheaper brands. The bag that stores everything is super tough and well made. Definitely worth the cost and super fun to float a river on or paddle in a lake.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this board! When I first received this board, I was shocked how amazing it looked and all that was included. I took it out for the first time and thought it was soft on the feet and very comfortable and handled well on the water. I highly recommend this board!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great board!! From the size to the ease of set up and packing up it is wonderful!! Look forward to many more paddle adventures using it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids absolutely love the board. Even four kids 10-13 have paddles their way around the lake. Easy for them to blow up and do it all themselves.
Looks just like pictures although I bought an aero pump rechargeable to inflate it. I'm lazy, older and don't want to put work into pumping BEFORE padddeling. Best decision. Board is awesome in the water.
I liked the idea of a minimalist way to get on the water. I own a kayak but it's really annoying to transport and heavy enough that loading it onto a car roof is a pain. With an inflatable you have something that fits literally into a backpack. It takes about 10 minutes to pump it up. It's not terrible but enough work that you aren't going to look forward to it. I can see the appeal of an electric pump. The handpump takes some work but once it's inflated you can use it all day so 10 minutes of work isn't too bad. I really like the build quality of the Wulf. All of the pvc material is thick and feels substantially melded together. With the board inflated to 15 psi it's so stiff it doesn't seem like an inflatable anymore. The paddle it comes with is pretty decent but I had to tighten the top screw a bit to get it to hold tight enough not to accidently shorten the length with too much downward pressure. It took me about 30 seconds to get a feel for standing on the paddle board. With the fin installed it is very stable in the water. I even recently used it on a lake trip to help ferry supplies from a pontoon boat to the beach 200 feet away. This board is obviously best used on calm waters. It can handle some waves but since you only have one paddle it's hard to fight against bigger waves. I do plan to try and take it to the ocean on a calm day. It handles creeks, lakes, and ponds very well. One nice feature about a SUP over a kayak is you can lay down on this if you want get some sun.
Great boards. Easy to set up. Used them all week on the bay. We bought two and we were able to paddle around easily with one kid (4yo and 6yo) sitting on the front of each board.
We just finished a week in Michigan. Only snafu with these is that the yellow air valve turns and it was turned clockwise, which is how you release the air. Once we figured out that we needed to turn it counterclockwise to hold the air, we were good. No problems taking the fins out. Quality was good and it packed very easily. Really an incredible purchase. We bought two and our kids had a blast using them all week. Highly recommend these!
