Comfy, not so cozy

We got this sleeping bag for mellow car camping trips where we aren't having to trek gear. We enjoy that it isn't mummy style since we mostly just do 3-season camping, and this is more like a typical bed set-up. My only complaint is that it isn't super warm (definitely not to 20 degrees!). We have so far only used it once last year, early in the season (June or July in the California mountains where it probably only got down to maybe 30 degrees at night). Even going to bed fully clothed with a sweatshirt and socks and sweatpants, I still had to throw a wool blanket on top to get toasty. Not a deal breaker by any means, but wanted to share so that other cold people can be prepared and bring additional layers for warmth :). I would buy it again just for the comfort/space of the bag & because it's easy to add layers. If it were any colder we would have just pulled our wool blanket inside the bag and probably would have been super warm.

Very surprised at the shoddy quality. This is NOT a 20 degree bag...not useful for weather under 40! Works as two bags but the connecting zipper broke right away. North Face not honoring warranty a total waste of money.

Exceptionally warm and comfortable

The bag was perfect. It got down into the low 40s on a recent camping trip, and my wife and I were both very comfortable in this bag. We augmented it with a blanket beneath (between the bag and the air mattress) as well as a comforter on top and it was definitely overkill. My wife is very sensitive to cold nights in the woods, and she was quite pleased with this bag.The zippers on both sides were great, and very easy to use. We didn't use the little pockets, but they seem very convenient. The bag buttons up in the middle at the top as to make it fit even more snugly. Great bag.

Top Notch

Unreal sleeping bag. My wife and I fit in here very comfortably. The material is high quality and the bag itself is very comfy. We took it down to Moab the week we bought it and it made our nights so much better. Not too mention we didn’t have to pay $300/night to stay in a hotel down there. What a joke that is. I’d recommend this sleeping bag to anyone. You can always trust the North Face brand

Warm and roomy

Husband and I are primarily car campers. We went camping in Pictured Rocks, MI and temp went down to 34-36 at night. We hate being cold so this bag was perfect. Woke up warm and even had to remove layers of clothing. We are 120# and 160# and had plenty of room not to feel tangled but cozy enough to stay warm.

Excellent Sleeping bag for Couples

Excellent sleeping bag. Temperature rating is absolutely correct and has kept my boyfriend and I cosy in extremely cold temperatures (well, cold for us texans, about 0-10 F). Packs large but is worth it for the warmth and comfort.

Wow! Rooftop Tent Dream!

I purchased this bag for fall camping. We have a rooftop tent that is pretty spacious and this bag fit so perfectly! I have a tendency to flop around like a fish when I am sleeping so I was worried that the bag would be too small for my husband and I to share, but there was never a moment when either of us were fighting for bag space! That is incredible to me since I feel like I fight myself for bag space in a regular sleeping bag. Temps dropped to the 30's on our last camp out and we were like two bugs in a rug in our sweet Dolomite Double! In the morning I was psyched that I didn't have to lay on it or wrestle it like an alligator to get it back in the stuff sack! I highly recommend it!

HOLE ON THE INSIDE AFTER 2 USES

I was so bummed because this sleeping bag is super comfortable, but I used this twice for car camping and woke up the following morning to find a hole in the bottom of the sleeping bag from the inside. It should not be doing this, especially after only two uses! Didn't even take it outdoors and it walk already falling apart. I returned it and got the REI Siesta. Much sturdier material.

NOT a 20 degree bag

My partner and I have spent multiple nights in this sleeping bag. If the temp drops below 50 you are going to be chilly. The 20 degree comfort rating is ridiculous. Do not purchase.

This sleeping bag ticked all of the boxes.

The sleeping bag was perfect for myself and my boyfriend camping. He is a tosser-turner and having everything zipped together kept the covers on me. This bag is plenty roomy! My boyfriend is 6'2"and weighs about 220 pounds I am 5'2" and about 120 pounds. There was plenty of room for us to toss and turn. We did not feel too closed in at all. This bag was very warm. It feels very durable. It is a little bit on the heavier side and bulky to store, but that inconvenience is well worth it.
