Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems like a good product, but neither Medium nor Large fits 6-2, 170 I often look to these reviews for sizing information, because the "fits small/large" slider doesn't really cover it. I'm 6-2, with a 34 inseam, 33 waist, and an athletic 170. I'm guessing that there are many other lean climbers out there. This pant doesn't come in Medium-tall, which is essential for fit. The Medium is too short to adequately cover boots, and the large is way too large in the waist and hips - even though I believe it is a SLIM cut. I've found, though, that pants with a Medium-Tall size are about as ideal a fit for me as I can find. Otherwise, the material seems solid. I prefer the Alpha and Gamma but these pants look like they can handle quite a bit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants, but definitely not a tapered fit. I've never owned a pair of arcteryx pants before due to a lot of extra bulk accumulating around my boots on every pair I've tried on. For reference I am 5'9. Approximately 170 pounds, and I bought size xs because my waist is exactly 29 inches. Given that I was ordering an extra small tapered pant, I assumed that if anything, it would be too tight on my boots and calves. I was wrong. They are still amazing pants. They seem extremely well built, and I absolutely love the material, I just assumed that since they have a zipper that will open to accommodate bigger boots, that by default they would taper, and fit snugly, as in the description, but no. I have about 4 inches of extra room in the leg opening with boots on. The leg appears to be a straight shot with no taper. I'm definitely nitpicking an otherwise great pant, but I am still annoyed by the misleading fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around winter pant Taken for a few winter romps already. I was worried about the lack of suspenders in a winter pant, but it stretches so well that it wasn't an issue, even when climbing. The fabric is super strong, attested by the frontpoint I took to the back of the knee traversing to a pillar on a mixed climb. Breathability was fantastic as well, keeping me moisture free on a particularly aerobic snowshoeing venture.
