Benchmade  15080-2 Crooked River Knife

This is a great EDC, when it stays in my pocket. The blade is strong and holds an edge well. It’s a work tool so gets used multiple times per day. I received mine from the resale section with a small chip missing where the lanyard goes. This doesn’t affect the function in any way. The bad. The pocket clip is not quality spring steel. In the year I have ones this knife I’ve lost it many times. Thankfully have found it every time. The clip doesn’t retain its tension and over time becomes gapped away from the knife. When I notice that it’s clipping on my pocket a little too easy or I’ve had to retrace my path to find it, it’s time to rebend it. I haven’t reached out to Benchmade to see what they have to say about this. Older knives with the menchmade name stamped on them seam to be of much better quality.

I bought this last September and have carried it everyday since, the blade was laser sharp out of the box, and still is today even with use. It's not too heavy, but has enough weight to feel solid and well made. Along with its stunning good looks, the quality of the knife makes this one of my all time favorite purchases. Benchmade knocked it out of the park

Having already owned the fixed blade version, and loving that blade, I took advantage of the sale and bought the folding model. It's not seen any true service as of yet, but it will soon enough. I'll revise as appropriate.

This thing is a beast. Very sharp. Reminds me of the Buck110. Its big and heavy but in a good way. Life is short. Buy the knife.

The Benchmade Crooked River full sized knife was a bit larger than expected. I love the style, but swapped out the clip for a short deep pocket one. I don’t even notice this fat daddy is in my pocket most days, which says a lot about something that is a full 9 inches when extended. It’s taken a bit to loosen it up and get the action going, but it’s rather snappy now!

This is, overall, one of the best knives I own. It fits my hands and is balanced nicely. The action is crisp and smooth.

Just brought this knife for my dad and he absolutely loves it. The quality, sharpness, and over all feel of the knife is too quality. He owned meany Benchmade knifes and this one just became his favorite. Highly recommend this knife

Though I found a bit of handle scale around the lanyard hole is apart soon after I got the parcel, but the overall features are excellent, especially the blade. .

I have had several knives from Benchmade. This knife is by far the best. Great quality.

This is my third Bench Made knife. This is a well made knife with decent steel, not the best, but decent. Would be better if is was S35VN. Overall satisfied with purchase. This company does stand behind their product. They have free knife sharpening program, and if you damage the blade, they will replace the blade for a very reasonable fee. The blade is 4" which is a decent size and get done what you need.
