Great Fit

Road & MTB rider, competitive, 80% MTB 20% Road - Decided to upgrade to a POC MTB helmet, decided on POC from my kids ski helmets always liked their construction and design philosophy, I always felt that the fit of my past helmets were probably as good as it gets...? Bought myself a Christmas present and rode it today for the first time UNBELIEVABLE, the fit was spot on, enjoyed the visor coverage, felt very light, was stable over the entire ride with never a wobble, GREAT product, looking forward to upgrading my rode as well as my alpine helmets! Great Job POC.

Size chart?

Helmet is really nice, very impressed with the construction and looks, really liked the grey/blue color. I was pretty disappointed though that it was way too big, despite using the size chart and reading all the reviews before ordering. My head is 21.75" / 55.25cm and so I ordered the M/L. The helmet looked and felt HUGE on me and I had to really crank the dial to tighten it up. What was most upsetting however is that REI does not provide a free return label on exchanges, and so I had to pay almost $30 to send it back. I ended up ordering this helmet in a size small elsewhere, because of that.

Great lightweight helmet!

I haven't crashed, so I can't speak to it's actual protection, but it is very lightweight and comfortable. I tried on helmets from every brand REI carries and POC fit my the best, by far. This helmet is easily adjustable, I like the visor, and it has great air flow so I don't get hot. You almost forget you're wearing a helmet because it's so light.

Cool Looking Lid - did not fit me

Cool looking helmet - I could not get the M/L or XL to fit right. Sat too low on my head. Anyway nice looking helmet and easy return to REI.

POC Tectal is Awesome

Perfect fit and very well ventilated! Nice to cool the melon on a hot day in Colorado for a change. Couldn't be happier!
