The Yeti 350 Was Perfect For Our Whole Hog
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're a BBQ caterer in the DFW are and we needed a way to transport a 110lb whole hog onto a party barge for an 80 person rehearsal dinner. The Yeti 350 worked out perfectly for this task. We had a custom grate made so we could easily pull the hog off the pit and drop it into the Yeti. We lined the bottom of the Yeti with towels just in case it was too hot. Once we got it onto the boat, everyone watched as we opened it for the first time. The steam that came out was awesome!! It stayed warm the entire 3-4 hours that we needed it to. Needless to say, everyone was blown away by our food and the entire experience and the party barge even added us to their preferred vendor list. Thanks Yeti for making such an awesome cooler.
Solid Product!
I own 3 Yeti coolers! (2) 250 (1) 75 New edition 350 Yeti Over 200 fishing days on the ocean out of Key West. I need the best cooler I can get. It get hot and I need my ice.
Haulin' it all!
I bought this cooler for Whole Hogs for competition and catering. It is fantastic because I can throw a 200 lbs hog with extra shoulders, sausage and bacon in with no problem. I added a set of Badger Wheels on it and now it can go anywhere!
greatest cooler ever!!!
love my cooler it is portable with the tires it is cool and holds ice for days. Please don't hate me yeti.
My thoughts
I bought for hunting and it did not disappoint even though I didn’t get my animal. When I got it on July 29th 2018 on my way back home I filled 3/4 of it with ice and checked on it same time every evening. Had about a bag of ice left after 11 days day temp avg. was hi 80’s was in southwest Colorado. I live around 6,400’. After seeing it lasted that long early summer I know it wasn’t going to be a problem once my hunt started! Used every time I get to hunt in the high county.
Wow...
I remember right before I bought this cooler everyone thought I was insane. You don’t need that much cooler, what are you gonna do with of a cooler that big, and so on and so on. I bought it originally to transport an elk from Wyoming back to Austin Texas. After I got the cooler i took it to a party and it was, OMG that’s incredible, look at all that stuff you can carry, that’s so cool, look how much you could hold, where did you get it? Totally separate and unrelated comment is I love how it looks on the back of my truck. It’s as long as the inside of the bed and sticks of 2 inches over the rail. Definitely makes a statement and you can tell people noticing it when you’re driving.
Keeps my meat Cold
This 350 is the perfect width to put in the back of our '62 ecoline truck/van. It will be used as a "toolbox".... A toolbox filled with cold beer... Coldest beer anyone ever did see. We havent installed it yet but I did use it to transport half a mangalitsa hog across state lines!!!! Thanks yeti.
It's a beast!
I'm an outfitter and i have had this cooler for almost two years now, it never stops surprising me how long it will hold ice, even during some of our hunts where we use as a fridge, opening 20-30 times a day for lunches and drinks it will easily hold ice for over a week. Also living on coast i use it alot for seafood, had 15 blocks of ice in it and 253lbs of live lobster and still had room for another 100lb of bugs!
Tons of space...
Bought this to hold a 130 lb hog in for a few days. It kept it plenty cool for several days with little ice. It will come in handy during deer season as well. I just wish they had the plastic dividers like my Tundra 65 has.
Ice Bath
Every morning I use this to take an ice bath. Easy to clean and drain. Best yeti purchase I’ve ever made!
