YETI  Roadie 8 Hard Cooler

I love this little cooler! It’s perfect for some drinks on a little road trip or for chillin in the backyard, holding your cold ones 😎. It reminds me of the older yeti coolers that had that metal handle once upon a time. I wish yeti would bring those back!

This would have been my first Yeti cooler. I wanted a cooler that was larger than the Igloo that I used for lunch that would also double for day trip use. I assumed that the dimensions listed in the description were internal dimensions, they are not. Internal dimensions are not given. The description says that the cooler can hold three wine bottles laying on their side. It cannot. The shortest wine bottle in my rack would not fit inside this cooler. It appears to be a well made cooler and I and disappointed that it is too small for what I wanted to use it for. The problem is that the product description is inaccurate and misleading. Regarding the cooler itself, I will say that this cooler will hold a bunch of soda cans and not much else. It is very small inside. It will not hold my small water bottles upright. It will not hold my food prep containers flat. My suggestion to prospective buyers is to review the internal dimensions carefully to make sure that it will fit your needs.

The Roadie 8 is a great cooler. I especially like the firm Smallhaul handle and the new single Quicklatch. The only drawback to this cooler for me is that I already have a Roadie 15. The Roadie 8 is just not that much smaller in its overall size than the 15, to warrant the extra cooler for my needs, but I bought it anyway, just because... Would anyone else be interested in Yeti Anonymous meetings? Ha!

What stands out most about the Roadie 8 is how easy it is to use. The latch is quick to open with one hand, the handle makes it comfortable to carry, and the compact size means it fits almost anywhere. I also like that it doubles as a small seat or footrest when you’re at the beach, park, or campsite. The ice retention is great, but the everyday usability is what really makes this cooler stand out.

I’ve been looking for a personal hard cooler that’s convenient to take on the road for work. This Yeti 8 is perfect. Fits great in the front or back seat of my truck and love the single latch. Plus the yeti style and cooling is top tier. Another great product!

Bought the roadie for a lunch box and love it! I also use it for a passenger side cooler for drinks! Very well built and made to last!
