Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spork, just don't put it into the dishwasher This was a great spork that I used on many occasions. It held up well until I decided to put it into the dishwasher. I don't know if it had any warnings on the packaging but before putting it into the dishwasher I checked the REI page. There were no warnings about the dishwasher on the REI page so I thought it would be OK. DO NOT use it in the dishwasher as the dishwasher removes the anodized surface :((

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go - to Utensil I've purchased this thing 4 times now. Not from losing it 3 times but giving it to other people. I gave one to my girlfriend when she wanted to start backpacking, my other buddy who needed a longer fork, and I did end up losing one actually.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes eating freeze dried food easy! Love the length of the spoon which makes eating prepackage freeze dried food so much easier than with a short one where your hand would inevitably get dirty with food. The only disappointing thing is that the finish on the spoon makes it difficult to lick clean. They do wash up with a rag/sponge and water easily. I love the fact they came with a carabiner than I can easily attach the spoon my backpack and not loose it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful Spork The length of the sport is good for eating out of deeper items such as Mountain House food bags. Seems strong. I like that it comes with a clip so it can hang and dry on my pack after its washed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No better spork I have had a few of the shorter sporks and when eating the backpacking meals you can never easily reach the bottom of the pouch. With the long handled version that is no longer an issue. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One SPORK to rule them all! It's a spork. It's light as a feather. The shaft is extra long which makes a HUGE difference when eating directly from dehydrated food bags as you don't have to reach your hard into the bag itself (good bye dirty fingers). Cheaper and better than the titanium sporks at REI in my opinion. I had originally got the short version but the REI cashier suggested the longer one; so glad I took his advice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spork the bottom! I've been waiting for this! Love their long handled spoons in the bottom of the food bags and have been looking for the long handled fork, but this spork will work just fine. Haven't used it yet on the trail, but it will be fabulous I have no doubt. Getting your fingers yucky trying to get to the bottom of the bag is all over now! I'm a happy hiker!

Will it scratch the bottom of the Jetboil?

Asked by: 6George11
This will typically not scratch the bottom of the Jetboil, however, we do not recommend using a lot of force when stirring and avoiding the bottom whenever possible.
