great sling
I have had two of the 60cm slings and they are great for extending rappels, girth hitching the giant mining buckles at index for belaying. Overall good useful sling.
These are great to secure kayaks
I am not a climber but an avid white water kayaker. So when you are in a situation where the boat will not stay on shore, you can use the runners to secure the boat off a tree and the grab handles on the bow or stern of your boat. Wrap one runner around a tree and secure it with an Oval or D, click in with a quick draw and another runner off the boat and let it float in the water. Total control and worry free
Multi purpose, lightweight personal anchor.
Lighter weight than a PAS, and can be used for other purposes, such as extended rappel or alpine draws. Having gear that can be used for multiple things saves weight on the rack. Also, nylon is safe to use weighted with knots in it. Dyneema/spectra can break if shock loaded with knots in it, and would be best used in original form.

I made this purchase over the winter while replacing so well used rock climbing gear. Finally got to use them on April 1st out first outdoor climbing trip of the season. As always Black Diamond delivers top notch gear. I love having them as part of my gear!

What to say.... This product does its job. Great for extending out your rappel device.
Rock solid
Rock solid - used them for hanging a yoga swing, pull up power-balls and building anchors. Only thing is that Nylon slings are super susceptible to sharp edges or abrasion - I have a couple of dodgy looking threads getting pulled sideways out of the slings.
Perfect for the film industry
I use webbing like this product all the time in the film industry as a grip. They are strong and built to last. Perfect in many different application for grip and electric, rigging and on set.
