Black Diamond  18 mm Nylon Runner

This is my third set of these "runners" I actually use them to hang an extra bar on my back deck for chin ups. the first set has been outside (under cover) for about four years and still no fraying or tears.

I have them in different sizes. I use them to build top roping and rappelling anchors. I use them for assist climbing and ascending ropes. They are inexpensive, durable and very useful.

This sling is my best friend. Hanging up high is a terrifying situation that I keep putting myself in -- this thing is my baby. Locking into an anchor up top with this strap, belaying from a cliff while locked into this sling. It's worked wonderfully. I would recommend buying this Nylon if you're just getting into rock climbing. I'd also recommend getting a shorter one for other gear too.

I have several of these runners now and use them all the time for setting up anchors at uneven bolts, storing my quick draws and beaners, and otherwise improv-ing whatever gear I inevitably forgot in the car. I like the 18mm because it's long enough for me to use it for pretty much whatever I need, and i can just throw a knot in to shorten it or double wrap it if needed to adjust it to the correct size. Having a few different lengths of runners is great, but if you just want one, I recommend the 18mm length. Make sure to check your ratings though before using!

Great runner that gets the job done! Mostly used to top rope anchors.

This runner is strong and well made. I use it as an ice ax tether and it works perfectly.

I did not realize how long these would be. Not suitable for a clean out system but we have found other great uses for this runner. No problems with the product and it has held up very well.

Perfect sling for the price point! Great to add to the climbing gear collection.
