Love these so much that I bought another pair
These are my new go-to capris. I ordered black heather with my spring discount and liked them so much that I asked my partner to use his discount to get me the dove grey, which are lovely. They're comfy, attractive, and good for school/errands, trail, Pilates class. Only caution: be sure to tie knots at the end of the inside tie; otherwise one end is sure to vanish in the first wash. I'm in between M and L, and I'm glad I went with L. It's good that I decided to try these when perusing capris online because I checked 'em out at the store and am not sure I'd have tried them if I didn't already know how much I like them.
Disappointing
When I first bought these pants, I thought they were a great idea for summer. They were comfortable, looked great, had pockets, and the drawstring was inside the wide waistband and was advertised to not slip. Well, these pants pretty much started to fall apart by the second or third time I washed them (in cold water, on gentle, and hung them up to dry). The drawstring came out. Then the fabric started to pill and thin out wherever it rubbed together. I usually like clothes from lucy. I was really disappointed with these pants.
Go-to Summer Pants
I love love love these capris. As a short, bigger gal with full hips and thighs, it's very difficult to find pants that fit. Finding comfortable, stretchy, lightweight , summer hiking pants that fit has been impossible - until I found these Lucy capris! The waistband is comfy under my pack's hipbelt, the pants fit well on my short, curvy frame, and the material has stood up to day after day of trail abuse (and thighs rubbing together). As an added bonus, these capris are cute enough to wear around town with some strappy sandals! The only downside to these pants is that they are expensive. I winced at the price tag, but loved how they felt and looked on me too much not to suck it up and buy them. After wearing them the last few weeks, I will be buying these capris in more colors!
great fitting, quick to pill and thin
I bought my first pair and was so pleased with the fit and look. I needed a pair of pants that I could wash in the sink and drip-dry over night for traveling. After three or four wearings, so maybe 6-8 hours on, the pants were pilled and thin from where my shoulder bag rub up against them at the hip when I walked. I exchanged that pair thinking maybe it was just a fluke, but sadly, after a month+ of use, the new pair is pilled at the seat from riding my bike, pilled up along the seams and the fabric looks rough and overly worn for the age. It's such a disappointment because of the overnight wash+dry possibilities and the terrific fit of these pants. Fix the fabric and I'd buy one in every color. Now to exchange once again and try a different brand.
Loved them while they lasted
I bought 2 pairs of Lucy pants late spring. I loved them. I wash in cold, gentle cycle and hang dry. After the first few washes they still looked good. Then I noticed the fabric started looking very worn and they started to pelt. The fabric had a different feel to it. At $75 a pair I would expect better. Very disappointed
Love these capris, had to buy more
I bought one pair of these capris for working out and had to go back and get another pair right away. So comfy and not super clingy. One thing though -- the draw string in both pair of pants didnt have a knot on the ends so it got lost in the waist line. So instead of trying to knead the rope back through, I ended up pulling them out of both. If it weren't for this, i would have rated these 5 stars.
Oh so comfy!!
I purchased these pants in store and I'm glad because I would have never spent the $70 on them if I hadn't! They are so comfortable and have awesome stretch. I wear them hiking, lounging and I wear them to my office job. I tried on the Lucy full length yoga pants and they were way to long. These hit my about 2" below my knee and I'm 5'3.
My Go-To Summer Pants
These are definitely my favorite pants for lounging around the house, running errands, and even hiking, biking, whatever! They're super comfortable. They run true to size. I haven't had any issues washing or drying these. I may not have put them through the ringer weather-wise, but I've certainly wore them a lot!
Comfortable and flexible for Yoga
I am a curvy woman and these still were flattering on my figure and comfortable during yoga class. They also feel more stylish than most yoga pants.

Love these. This is my second pair. Normally never want to wear the same pants daily but these are just too comfortable and cool in higher temperatures as well as looking good and quite classy on. They wash well (inside out) and dry quickly. Finding it hard on casual days to wear anything else! Think they suit any age - I'm a young 70 and pretty active. Also the waistband works well if you have the occasional 'fat day'.
