Rated 5 out of 5 by from Opens up a new way to hammock I recently bought these straps in addition to the normal Atlas straps and found that they can help in a multitude of ways including the distance, angle, and comfort when hammocking in between long spaces. For the price, great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need length on packaging Bought these in store, they didn't have the length on the packagin, but I figured for the price I could risk it. They wound up being too short to use as a primary strap, will have to return and spend a little more to get a more versatile set of straps.

In specs it says these weigh 11 oz but I've handled them in store - that's the same weight as the Atlas straps and these definitely weigh less.  What is the actual weight?

Asked by: Nim
According to the manufacturer specifications, the EXT Utility Straps weigh 3.5 ounces. We will update our site to reflect the correct weight.

I am a college student so I just need something simple to hang my hammock. Which would work best to hang the hammock between two trees or hammock poles?

Asked by: Kelli20
The ENO Atlas Hammock Suspension System is a very simple and easy way to hang a hammock. You can find it online here: https://www.rei.com/b/eno/c/hammock-straps

How would you attach these straps to the regular Atlas straps?  What's the preferred way, with caribiner, or do you just thread this extender through the strap loop?

Asked by: PeteMitchell
Per ENO's site, they have the Atlas EXT straps girth hitched to the Atlas straps, though a carabiner would work equally well.

I assume that by adding 54" to strap length, that means that each extender strap is 27" long?

Asked by: PeteMitchell
Each Atlas EXT strap is 54 inches and they are sold as a pair.
