Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Excellent for Hot, Humid Climates
I owned two of these shirts one Slate Blue and one Atmosphere. I wore them frequently the 13 years that I lived in the tropical rain forest of Hilo, Hawai'i. The mesh vents help keep you cool on days when you need a long-sleeve shirt for protection from wind and sun. Unfortunately, I recently lost my Blue Slate one while visiting friends on Hawaii Island. Blue slate is now not available in my size (XL), but I will keep checking back because it was my favorite long sleeve shirt -- doubles as a lightweight jacket in spring & summer. This shirt is far superior to the Columbia line if you live are visit areas with hot humid climates.
Great Shirt
This shirt is great, I have worn it on a couple occasions and every time I am pleased. It is a very breathable and keeps me cool even in the long sleeve style. The vents keep the air flow circulating, which is great. I usually run very warm and this shirt kept me from sweating on a nice casual day out. For backpacking or hiking, this shirt is great. The sleeves can be rolled up for the warm days and kept down for the cooler ones. The durability is good as well. Have not had any snags or tears walking through brush. All in all this is a very very comfortable shirt that is versatile, cool and durable. I would highly recommend this shirt to any outdoor person.
Looks great, drys okay
I can say I sweated the must in my life on a resent 4 hour hike in the Amazon. This shirt looks great, has great air flow, and feels good but drys okay. I took it off 3 times to drain the sweat off, I don't blame the shirt but environment but it seemed to me the shirt held sweat more compared to other nylon shirts. I think it's the trade off being a thicker material which can be better for protection. Everything wants to bite, sting and poke you down there. I think this is a heavy duty shirt and I felt protected in it. I think this is why it didn't dry as fast as my other shirts. Great shirt for all seasons, avoid super humid areas.
Excellent Shirt for Outdoors or Indoors
I now have four of these shirts and find them to be the most comfortable of this type of shirt. Better than comparable TNF, Columbia, Cabela's, etc..The roll-up and button-up arms are a nice option to shorten the sleeve. I like the underarm mesh area - that's where you need it on hot days. The 95% nylon 5% spandex shirt body is softer on the skin than these types of shirts that are polyester. The material also is resistant to wrinkles, just dry it on a gentle cycle and/or just hang it up to dry. I am 175lbs, 6'1", 36" waist and the large fits perfectly with a relaxed fit. Definitely recommend these shirts in both long and short sleeve.
Great shirt, with one problem
I bought this at the Denver REI on Jun 22nd, and wore most days for close to two weeks while traveling around CO. About a week in I noticed that there was discoloration occurring on the shirt around the shoulders, possibly from pack straps. I loved the shirt itself. It was comfortable, cool, and quick drying. It also looks really nice. I would recommend the shirt with the caveat that it may discolor from pack strap wear. BTW it was a grey shirt that discolored. I'm hoping that another color won't.
One shirt to rule them all
Ok, heading to the North Rim, Grand Canyon via Las Vegas. Need a shirt that can do it all: look decent in a casino or restaurant, keep me cool in scorcher conditions, not smell funky after wearing it, wash easily at camp. This is THAT shirt. I wore it (nearly) every day, including into the canyon and back out. Washed it at camp with camp-suds, dried fast and even wore it on the return flight - wrinkle free. It paired awesome with a smart-wool ss tee. Even in the cool of night. If I had only one set of clothes to take on a trip, this is going with me. I settled on the dark blue, even though I know the tan color would be cooler when the sun is beating down. I will have to say - I didn't even notice "extra" heat due to the color. I didn't expect to be so impressed with this shirt, much less 5 starring it in a review, but I had to share.
Poor fit....
There are some glaring flaws in this shirt. I ordered a large and the quality seemed very good. Then I went to unbutton it. I have never had a shirt where the button holes were sewn so tight...seriously tight. That would loosen over time, but when I went to put it on there is another problem. The large was a little too tight, which is alright, as I could just order a XL. However, the sleeves are really tight on my arms...so much so it was hard to even roll down the sleeve that had been rolled up in the package. Understand that I do not have large arms at all, so for any guy with large biceps these shirts would be useless. I doubt that getting an XL would change this.
I love this shirt!
I love this shirt. It's a little pricey but it's a great shirt. It has vents to help it breathe, is lightweight, and it looks great. If you want to have the sleeves all the way down for warmth or to protect you from the sun, you can wear it that way. If you want the sleeves rolled up, you an button them in the up position so you feel cooler. I have bought three of these shirts over the past year or so in three different colors and I love them.
Comfy and practical dress shirt
My wife has recently been after me to replace two old Ex Officio long-sleeve shirts, partly because I now need a smaller size, and partly because their collars look really ugly on occasions requiring a collared shirt This shirt was the replacement, and has been entirely satisfactory to both of us. I got both the dark red and the white, in size Medium, and have successfully worn both to church, without any complaint from my wife. The Ex Oficios are now in the charity pile.
Lightweight, Cool
Just spent three days in this shirt backpacking the Old Loggers Trail in PA's Loyalsock State Forest. Very comfortable and lightweight. Dried out quickly which is important as i sweat - a LOT. even during short breaks and a little bit of breeze if felt the shirt become much dryer. it was light enough to comfortable in 80 degrees. i like the high pockets for maps or small items and the collar and cuffs are tight enough to keep the bugs out. Added some Sawyers Premethrin and was a happy camper! i will likely be investing in some more soon.
