Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grand Daddy of all coolers! I had been searching for a high performance cooler for some time. I finally came across the Yeti. It came with excellent feedback but I would judge for myself. My first experience was a recent car ride from Cincinnati to Florida, with and overnight stop along the way. I loaded the Yeti with cold beer (no ice) in Cincinnati. When I arrived in Florida some 22 hours later I opened the cooler to add ice. To my surprise the beer was still cold! Incredible. I added a large bag of ice that didn't fully melt for the entire week that I was in Florida! The Yeti is also advertised as being bear proof. Thank goodness I wasn't able to test it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Durable Construction! I was rear ended this weekend by a pick up truck and I had my Yeti 50 Tundra on a trailer hitch cargo carrier. The Yeti completely absorbed the entire 15+mph impact of the wreck and prevented any damage to my SUV. Absolutely can't say how impressed I am with the strength and durability of the construction of this cooler! The driver of the pick up truck was so impressed that he said "I'm definitely going to buy a Yeti cooler now". Even though it won't properly close now due to the impact, it still held all my food and beverages cold for the weekend mountain trip! Now, I just have to replace this Yeti for a new one...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for travel I own a tan 65 and love it and the wife was a little jelly. We live on the road full time recently so long distance travel is pretty much the norm. I use the 65 at the camper and she loads all the kiddos stuff and drinks in this one and it works great for long trips. The color is pretty cool if you're into dumb stuff like that; I'm much too cool to get hung up on that but.... (that's a joke). Sea foam is cool and it cleans up/doesn't show grime as much as my tan one. All in all very satisfied with my YETI products. Worth the price if you use them or a great excuse to get one so you have to use them!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for long car trips! We have been wanting a Yeti cooler for a long time and finally decided to splurge before our long drive up to MI this summer for vacation. I was taking meat and other perishable items and wanted to make sure they stayed cold the entire 2 day trip. Yeti did not disappoint!! We packed it with ice in ziplock bags and the ice was still frozen after 2 days in the car. Once we arrived in MI we used the Tundra 50 to store wine and beer for 2 weeks! It was always cold and we only had to add fresh ice a couple of times. We are thrilled with our purchase! Thanks Yeti for your amazing coolers! Now if you could make a sturdy lunch box for school/work that would be awesome!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It actually does what it claims to do I bought this cooler a couple of weeks ago and we used it to store all the beer for my dad's retirement party. That was on Saturday. The next Saturday I had a BBQ and had completely forgotten to drain the water and put new ice in. Low and behold, I opened it up and it was still half full of ice. A week later, after sitting in my garage, everything was still SUPER cold and there were actual ice chunks left. I couldn't believe it. I don't care if bears can't get into this--this is going to save me so much money on ice this summer! It is a tad bit on the heavy side, and the handles make it wonky to walk with, but overall, I love it and am super happy with it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurricane Relief Squared I bought my Tundra 50 in September 2017 from yeti's online store. They were donating proceeds to the Gulf Coast to help with disaster relief from Hurricane Harvey. Donating to a great cause and getting a great product finally pushed me to order a Tundra. Less than two weeks later, Hurricane Irma descended upon the north Georgia mountains I call home and we were without power for 5 days. My new Tundra kept ice for 5 days and allowed me to keep some semblance of cool while running generators and cleaning up from the storm. My yeti purchase helped get through not one, but two hurricanes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too good! Sort of....... As a professional guide this get's used as a cooler, seat, casting platform, etc. My one complaint is that as the day goes on and the interior gets colder it seals too well. You can barely get the top open even with two hands. This is a problem when you are on a bonefish flat and the sound of a bouncing cooler is a critical problem. I found that if I loosen the drain plug and release the pressure it will open. I do not expect my customers to go through this drill every time they want a drink which is often in the spring and summer down here in the Florida Keys. This is my first Yeti and I would like to know if this is common or just my particular cooler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go to size for versatility When considering which size to go with for my first hard sided YETI I went with the Tundra 50. I needed a cooler that is bomb proof, one that I can haul around in the back seat of my sedan, and the largest interior space available that I can still check as oversized baggage when traveling on my adventure hunts. With that being said I already own the Hopper Flip 18 and plan on getting the Tundra 105 when I have a truck to haul it. (Because you can't just get one YETI after you get your first!) These are all the things that led me to the 50. It's big enough to fit an entire boned out whitetail or black bear. The size is just right being deeper than the 45 and not quite as wide as the 65.
