Great, great chain lube.
I have used almost every chain product over the years. We used to just get non specific lithium grease and 3 n 1 oil. Now the application specific products like ProGold and others make riding a much better experience. Weather and riding conditions require that you have the right set up for the best riding. This lube has been my go to chain treatment for road and mountain biking. I use a thinner coating for road and more liberal application for mountain biking. Go for it. Pro Gold is super.
Fantastic all-conditions lube
Riding primarily in Colorado, I use this on my full-suspension MTB, rigid fat bike, and gravel bikes. Dry, dusty, wet, snow… doesn't matter. Drivetrain never makes a peep and stays pretty clean. I'm good about lubing before every ride and keeping the drivetrain clean, so YMMV, but I've tried a number of different lubes including expensive wax-based ones, dry lubes, and a number of premium wet lubes… I keep coming back to ProGold Xtreme because it's reliable, easy, and it just works great. No reason to keep experimenting.
Simply works
The best lube for mountain bikes, hands down. Use the regular Pro Link lube for the road bike. Word of caution with this. Use sparingly. A little goes a long way
Best all around bike lube!
I love this product. Easy to use and works great for all weather conditions. The only trade off for it’s exceptional protection is that it can be a bit messier than dry lube. Once again though, worth a little clean up for the great protection. If you love your bike as much as I do, you would not want to use anything less.
