Best chain lube for dry conditions!
After trying many other chain lubes this is by far the best chain lube for dry conditions! Chain has never been so clean since using this lube, less chain wear. After applying it will dry out, so mud & dust won't accumulate. If you wash your bike only with water, the chain will be perfectly clean without using degreaser. I only ride in dry conditions, I guess in wet conditions this chain lube isn't the right lube to use

expensive, polluting, hype
Not sure why REI is selling this at all. PFTE lubes do not work better, it just makes the problem of PFAS pollution worse. REI should do better. I noticed no improved performance with this product, imo the pfte is a gimmick, and unfortunately one with toxic consequences.

Will Keep On Buying

This stuff is great. Smells good when you put it on and is easy to put on my bike chain. I ride blue mountain bike trails that get really dusty in the summer. In the summer my riding time needs me to apply about once every 2 months. During the winter, I can go as long as once every three months. Dust doesn’t gum up or stick to the chain like the other wax type stuff. I usually completely clean my chain off the bike 2 times a year in a solvent like bath to really clean it out.

Good for a standard dry lube

Works well as long as you follow directions and let it dry for at least 4 hours. I had to remember to lube in the evening so it was ready for morning ride.

Smells like bananas... works great.

Works great just needs time to dry. Applies better than other more runny lubes. Bonus about it... it kind of smells like bananas.

Best dry lube for Phoenix riding conditions.

I log a lot of miles at South Mountain and the local Phoenix desert parks. This lube is very little build up. If you get a drop of water on your chain it comes off. My solution is to bring along some wet lube just in case I run into random Arizona creek crossings. For 100% dry desert riding it great.

PTFE? No thank you.

I have successfully used Muc-Off cleaning products, and I got really excited with their Project Green to eliminate plastics. I was confused and disappointed when I received this lube that has PTFE in it?! And to advertise on the package that it's biodegradable is unethical. REI and Muc-Off should definitely do better. Back to the WPL lubes for me, even if it does mean a little extra cleaning and care.

Great stuff, just keep it out of the water

I have used mic off products for years, they always work as advertised. This line is great for road bikes or even off road bikes that don’t see much water. Have tried several different brands and formulas and this one remains one of my favorite.

Smells Wonderful, Works Awful

After using WD-40 Dry Lube all last season, I thought I would try out a different dry lube. Muc-Off is a near worthless lube. After a thorough degrease and washing of all drive train components, I applied the Muc-Off to each individual link of my chain. Without wiping off any excess, I let the lube dry overnight before my ride. After a 20 mile MTB ride in completely dry conditions, I took my bike to the LBS for an unrelated problem. The mechanic fixed said problem but noted my chain/drive train was not lubricated. This was the second time I had used the lube. The first time, I had the same problem but I attributed it to applying the lube to a dirty chain. Apparently, it doesn't matter. I'll be returning the lube.

Best lube

Most lubes are all the same but there is something special about this stuff. It also smells amazing, which shows that Muc-Off puts attention to every detail. Two Shaka product
