Rated 4 out of 5 by from One complaint All in all a good system that packs up nice and small. My backpacking days are over due to a blown out knee, but I still like to keep things small for when I'm going out in a small car. This fits the bill perfectly. I'm six feet tall and, lying on angle, I can stretch out quite comfortably. Haven't dealt with any rain yet, but the coating and taped seams on the tarp don't present any worries. My complaint is with the stuff sacks. The DoubleNest hammock barely fits in the same size pouch as the single and the tarp I've yet to be able to get back in its bag. I guess I could experiment with folding up just right but I just keep it in the large bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best trail sleep I've had Bought this a few months ago and been out with it a few times. Slept great every night with no back pain or any issues in the morning. So much better then tent camping. Recommend to anyone who tosses and turns when tent camping or has back issues. Just upgraded to whoopie slings and soft shackles. Sets up in a few minutes now. Only thing I would do is add about each of the tarp ridgeline guy out lines. Also the ridgeline provided for bugnet i found to be absolutely useless. Just went and replaced with a 35 line to be able to put it between any anchor points I use for the hammock and have a nice tight line. Other then that I love the setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it The kit is extremely light. I love the components being packaged separately -- only set up what you need. I'm 5' 11", and felt quite comfortable with the double nest. Like any product, it took a little playing around the first time I used it. It takes less than 5 minutes for me to set the whole kit up, if I'm in a hurry. If I take my time, it takes less than 10. The quality of the components are great. Like one of the other reviewers, I'd like to see a little longer stakes, but as long as the soil is not too loose, you can make these work quite well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET THIS! I will never again use a tent when I go camping, if I there is something to tie my ENO OneLink to. It is light, compact, easy to assemble, and provides the best sleeping experience that I have ever had outdoors. It has rained hard many times while I have camped with it and I stayed completely warm and dry. The bug net is also very effective. Plus- you can use the rain tarp, and bug net interchangeably, or just leave them in the bag and sleep under the stars OFF THE GROUND. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Good, Quality Issues I bought this hammock in May, but only got around to using it this June. I used this for 2 weeks straight, with multiple rainstorms throughout my stay. The setup was extremely easy, in maybe 5 minutes, tops. I was using a 40 degree sleeping bag. The first nights I was warm, and slept well. On Tuesday or Wednesday, a heavy rain storm came through. All night and through the morning it was heavy rain, and the interior of the hammock stayed dry. The fly is totally water proof, and let's no water through. One of my 2 complaints is that the attacher from the rain fly to the rope (that's included) came undone. A simple knot fixed that. My second, minor complaint is that the ropes that attach the rain fly to the stakes, are plain black. People trip over them all the time, but some bright orange rope will fix that. Over all, really great. Love it for summer camping. With an under quilt, I'm sure it will be great for winter to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shipping Updated Model The ENO One-Link Hammock displayed is an older model; however, REI is shipping the newest model, not the one pictured above. While I believe the product is excellent, I’m mostly leaving this review to inform others of what they’re actually buying (and hopefully REI will update their product information soon): the draw string stuff sack has been replaced by a nice 20L waterproof stuff sack; those terrible stakes with the white plastic tops have been replaced by stakes exactly like the MSR Groundhogs (except they’re blue and have ENO stamped on them vice red with MSR) and they are awesome. The Bug Guardian is No-See-Um and not Mosquito Net (saw that in some other review). The rain fly is a ProFly and the straps are the Atlas Straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lighest bug free heavy weight bed packed Easy to set up and comfortable to rest and sleep in makes you feel secure in your surroundings. Best of all real easy to re pack and on to the next site to set back up. It saves you on motel rooms. What a great nights sleep. After 1300 miles on the road from Maine to North Carolina I never slept better knowing I didn't need a ground tarp. Never a leak when set up properly. I love this product it lives up to it's Billing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ENO One Link System I have used the one link system for well over a year, in 20 degree weather and 110 degree weather, it works well in all, as long as you have the right sleeping bag. I use it without a pad. I have also kayak camped with the One Link System and it is wonderful, except if everyone else wants to camp on a gravel bar devoid of tree. The only downside and it is a minor one, is that the slap straps PRO, do streach, and they streach a lot over night, because they are nylon, I went and replaced the slap straps with Blue Water Climbing Spec Webbing 1", adn Petzl Carabiners, While they weigh more they do not streach, and you end up with you behind on the ground by 5 am, and you are not limited to hanging the bugnet and tarp to the same strap, streaching problem meant that you would be tight against the net and still get the occasional bug bite. I also went and purches reflective accessory cord as to not trip over guy lines for the tarp.

Interested in this system. I have one concern. Has anyone used this system with their faithful companion, their dog? My King Charles Spaniel is 27 lbs and is a great hiker and camper. Any problems that you can foresee using the hammock system??

Asked by: Cubmaster
This hammock system is designed for humans only. Therefore, we do not suggest using this product with any animals due to possible damage.

Just curious, has anyone ever tested this for comfort with two people?  My wife and I are both 5'7" and a combined 350 lbs.  Anyone have any wisdom on whether we could go with this two person hammock or should we try two single person hammocks?  Thanks!

Asked by: UTalaskan
This hammock is designed for two people and given your combined weight you will be well below the recommended weight capacity. Whether or not it will be comfortable with two people is all a matter of personal preference. I would highly recommend trying out this hammock and if you find you're uncomfortable, return the item and try two singles.

Does this come with the ProFly pictured or the DryFly that other retailers show (like Amazon) in their images? Maybe this is an older version, not the 2015 version?

Asked by: nc1
Both models of the OneLink Hammock Shelter System that we carry come with the ProFly rain tarp. The other model can be found below.

Does or can this hammock set up if necessary on the ground using walking poles and additional guidelines if one was camping above tree line or on a waterside island without trees to hang the hammock?

Asked by: Dlmowery
You would not be able to set the OneLink Hammock Shelter System with trekking pole and guylines.

what kind of pad would you buy for enu or just use sleeping bag?

Asked by: Faye
Pretty much any sleeping pad that is 20 inches in width will work. The Therm-a-Rest Trail Scout Sleeping Pad (REI item #865152) will be a good choice. We also recommend getting the ENO HotSpot Hammock Sleeping Pad Wings (REI item #830279). This keeps the sleeping pad from sliding around in the hammock.
