Must Have for Sailing!
On my 3rd pair of Maui Jim prescription sunglasses and I absolutely LOVE them. No other brand for me! As a professional yacht captain I am always in sunglasses so want great eye protection, polarization and optics. Also it’s important for me to have glasses that ‘wrap’ as much as possible and can still support prescription lenses. MJ delivers on all and more with great customer service to boot. My eyes thank me every time I put on my Punchbowl shades! Customer forever!! Thank you MJ for a superior product
Well Done
I'm an athlete; so I'm very picky. Also have a smaller head and face - these fit well and few glasses do for me. Good coverage for sports like mountain biking, golf, beach volleyball; rubber nose pads will keep them in place on a hot day and sit right on frame so as to maximize obstruction of light. Contrast with lens color + polarization is great for reading greens. Fairly decent wrap around also. Have had my last pair of Maui Jim's for 8 years and customer service is great in terms of lens replacement, etc. They are also feminine and can go easily from the volleyball court out to eat. Love 'em.
Third Pair
I didn’t ‘need’ another pair but decided to purchase a backup pair of Punchbowls for myself. This is my third pair. I sadly lost one pair, just sent in one pair (black with blue) for replacement lenses, and now own a new color, the chocolate fade. I looked for quite a while, trying to decide on a new style, and kept coming back to the Punchbowls since they fit my narrow bridge and face so well. There really isn’t anything I don’t like about the sunglasses. Of course the price is higher, and I wish MJ still provided the drawstring bag with the case. Have to say, I do like the new triangular case as it fits my small bag better.
Perfect fit for petite faces
My first pair of Maui Jim sunglasses were with me for six years….and then I lost them on a shopping trip. I searched for a month before I found this pair of Punch Bowl sunglasses. The minute I tried on the sunglasses, I knew I’d found the perfect replacement. I have a small, narrow face which makes finding the right size sunglasses a challenge. Most are too wide or the lenses tend to cover most of my cheeks. Punch Bowl is the perfect size fora petite face. Thank you for creating frames for petite people! And as a bonus, the Fall colors have never looked more strikingly beautiful as when I’m wearing my Maui Jim sunglasses.
Great lenses
I love these sunglasses. I use them mostly in Perth, Australia where the sun is really bright with ocean glare. The lenses are really clear to look through. I haven't dropped them so I can't comment on whether the lenses scratch easily or not. I have to say am happy with my first Maui Jim pair. I used to wear RayBans but these are a lot more functional.
Perfect everything
The fit is perfect for my face....comfort and style all in one frame. The sun blocking quality of the grey lenses is perfection. I wish you made these in a wider variety of frame colors. The chat rep took into account all my requirements, specifications, and cons and recommended 3 styles and this one is perfect!
Punch bowl frames
Say it ain't so! My Punch bowl frames are Out Of Stock. I've been wearing these frames for over 10 years and they're the only frames I've found that fit me perfectly and are sturdy enough to put up with my neglect. Any chance of getting them in the future?
PERFECT for Small Faces
I have very light, crystal blue eyes, so sunglasses are a must have. I can get a headache just walking to get the mail without sunglasses and so I've become somewhat of an expert as to what works best for my very light sensitive eyes. First, they're polarized - a must have living in Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. The lense color is perfect and does a good job of light reflection, but the size and fit are what make these perfect. I have a small face and it is very difficult to find great looking sunglasses, without nose bridge issues, that actually fit properly. 10/10 for me!

Love these sunglasses. My second pair. I bought them at the sunglasses. I was disappointed that I paid regular price and got a cheap glass case.
Another great product
Love them, great fit for smaller faces. I still prefer the tortoiseshell frames of my old ones though!
