Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Hammock My husband and I love this hammock. It's well made both he and I fit comfortably. He is 172lbs, I'm 124lbs. We take it everywhere we can, including backpacking. It's a little heavy to take on a long backpacking trip. But it's a well worth luxury and a most rewarding item to have. It really adds to your outdoors experience. Let me paint the picture. You go on a 7 mile hike in the mountains and when you return you slumber in your hammock and drink some hot tea and gaze at the sun setting and moon rising. A must have and a great gift. We have had ours for 3 years and no issues, only great memories!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you want a ENO, buy std dbl. NOT THIS I bought this product to use at our lake home after my kids both had brought their Eno Doublenest Hammocks when they came to visit. BIG MISTAKE. More expensive DOES NOT always mean better. This double deluxe is not deluxe. It's not comfortable (it has a seam running right down the center inside where your back would be). I am going to return this and I ordered a regular Eno Doublenest (I know those are comfortable) and I also ordered a cotton Hammock from REI called a Byer Amazonas Paradiso Double Hammock. I figure I can't go wrong now. But, I should have read the other reviews before I bought the double deluxe. It's going back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as great as I first thought I have reconsidered my first glowing review of the ENO Double Deluxe hammock. It has a seam in the center of the hammock that is tighter when you set up your hammock and therefore sticks up higher when you lay in the hammock. It comes from the extra material that is sewn in to make it larger ( and therefore the Deluxe model I guess ) than the regular double nest hammock. I will be returning this to REI and either getting another ENO double nest hammock which I already have one of and love by the way or getting a refund. Just another reason to buy from REI as their return policy is always the best if you are not pleased with a product purchased from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it This hammock is awesome! I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for 2... I sleep in it backpacking/kayak camping (can get chilly if you don't put a pad in it to block the wind). Maybe two small children or small people. Anyways, I've taken it on several trips and the people I go with end up buying one when we get home. It's relatively light (worth it for the luxury though). I switched out their carabiners for better ones but that was personal preference. Easy to fold up. Straps are easy to use. Worth the price. If only the bug net and rain fly weren't outrageously over priced. Amazing for naps on a summer day too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and no center seam! There is no center seam on my Double Deluxe - maybe they came out with a new model. If you get one with a seam, return it for another! This hammock is far superior to the doublenest and is super-comfortable. It's very wide - I'm 5'3 and can stretch out completely perpendicular in it, which makes it great for relaxing, swinging, or sleeping. It fits two people perfectly and is quite sturdy (which is very important if you have a sister who likes to tickle you). I use mine with the Atlas straps (although I wish I'd bought the XL for larger trees), the pro fly tarp, and the Blaze underquilt for camping. It's definitely worth the upgrade since you get so much more room for everyone who will want to invade your space as soon as they see how much fun you're having. :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wow. I have had an eno for a few years now and finally got it out on a week long camping trip in the black hills. There was snow on the ground still in March so we took the hammocks. Pro- light, easy to set up, but the biggest suprize I had NO.. Backpain in the morning. Usually sleeping on the ground with the cold air causes me to be really sore in the morning. Con- if its windy its cold, and when sleeping single in the "double nest" the sides flap when its windy, this anoyed me a few nights but I got over it. - Bring a close cell sleeping pad this will stop the wind and help you sleep more "flat". Rig it tight and you'll sleep like a baby. O Yeah dont try to sleep two all night, it really sucks. For a nap or hanging around its awesome.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MIDDLE SEAM RUINS IT! I bought this hammock for myself, but liked the idea of the extra fabric so that I could surround myself with it and hide. When the hammock is hung, the seam down the center sticks up higher than the sides, forcing you to either lie on one side or the other of it. I wish I had read the other reviewer's comments before I bought this hammock, because I also ended up exchanging it for the regular doublenest. The center seam was the tipping point. The doublenest is perfect for me and has plenty of fabric on the sides so that I can cover myself up. This hammock might work for two people who want the center seam to kind of delineate the two sides, but personally I've found that two people in a hammock is never very comfortable anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential for every trip. I started using the ENO Double Deluxe while in the military. Fast forward 3 years and now my wife and daughter have one, all of our camping friends have one. We keep our double deluxe(s) with us in a backpack all the time and we have hundreds of pictures from all over the US enjoying the hammock. The Atlas straps are a must. They stop all stretch and stay secure. I love our hammocks and look forward to warmer temps so we can hang more.

I am not an outdoor person at all so I know nothing about hammocks. But, I have a son on the Autism spectrum and I am considering an ENO for his room for his sensory needs. Is there any reason this could not be hung up permanently attached to a stud?

Asked by: HeatherW1974
This hammock could easily be hung indoors if hung properly from the studs in a wall. ENO even makes an indoor hammock hanging kit.

I own a double nest deluxe already and I want to buy a rain fly for it. I have been looking at the ENO ProFly Hammock. I was curious about how it fit over the double nest since its longer and wider than a ENO single nest.

Asked by: Jesse8
The ProFly is not wide enough to cover the Double Deluxe Hammock when the hammock is extended to the full width. The ProFly XL is wide enough to cover the Double Deluxe Hammock.

Can this be hung outside for the whole summer in Michigan?

Asked by: Chani
ENO does not recommend leaving your hammock outdoors for extended periods of time. UV exposure can lead to sun fading and the material becoming brittle. For longevity, they recommend storing in attached stuff sack in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Will this or any other ENO hammock work with a Byer Ceara stand, also sold at REI? Or will a ROO work with a Byer stand? I don't like the ENO stands... but I don't like the Byer hammocks.

Asked by: lagroves
An ENO Double Hammock is compatible with the Ceara stand. You would also need to purchase rope or some sort of strap system. The ENO Atlas Hammock Suspension System is a great choice.

Just ordered  new double deluxe. Is it true they all have a center seam now? If so, I may need to reconsider to the double nest

Asked by: Illb

Will this larger hammock, the double deluxe, fit onto the solopod stand?

This hammock is compatible with the SoloPod from ENO.

Older reviews describe an uncomfortable seam in the middle, while new reviews state that the design has changed to eliminate the middle seam. Please confirm the new design. Thanks

Asked by: JWT
Just bought one 06/14/16 and it does not have a middle seam. Appears ENO listened to their customer complaints.
