Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Underpants for Sailing! I bought these under recommendation from my best friend to take with me on a several months long sailing trip, which included crossing the Atlantic. I thought the price was a bit steep when I purchased them (I bought 3), but now I have to say they are worth every penny and I'm back to buying a couple more! They are super comfortable and have a great cool feel to them. They are also easily hand washable (even in the shower!) and dry in a couple of hours in the sun or a little longer indoors. I would make these my only underwear except during periods, where I'd switch to good ol' cotton undies, as liners do NOT stick to exofficio underwear at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The BEST travel and everyday undies! I love these, the fit is great, they pack down nice and small, dry extremely quickly in the sun after a handwashing and are totally worth the price. I brought 4 pairs of these magic undies with me on a 7 month trip and never looked back. The one downside is after such heavy use and a few machine washings the elastic in the band started fraying out, it did not effect the integrity of the undies just a little annoying. Either way I would highly recommend these to any woman who will be traveling for any amount of time. I could live the rest of my life with this pair of undies, I plan to buy several more pairs for everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pair of underwear ever! I never thought I'd write a review about underwear, and I never thought I'd pay this much for ONE pair. Yet here I am, about to buy another pair. They were super comfortable in every way. I wore them for an overnight hike on Mt. Fuji and didn't feel icky. I live in a very humid and warm climate (Japan) and I sweat a lot. These are super wicking, keep-you-dry undies that leave you feeling comfortable and ready to tackle the next 20 miles of trail. I hate that weighted-down with sweat feeling. No more cotton underwear ever. I wish I could wear a pair of these every day of my life. They do in fact dry overnight and are easy to wash by hand. Very lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent I purchased both the string bikini and regular bikini. I am an hourglass with 28 waist and 40 hips. The size medium fit me well in both. The main difference between the two styles is that the bikini goes higher on the waist - it has more fabric between the leghole and the waist. but the legholes are identical (i tried on one over the other just to see the difference). so far i have worn just the string. Though it seems to fit 'looser' than my standard cotton undies these did not ride up, even when I stooped to pet some chihuahuas. I was wearing loose wind pants over them. I am hooked! only downside i found was that my pantyliner did not stick to the fabric (so if it's a certain time of month you might have to forgo these undies.) I bought these for a trip to disneyland (i'm hoping they will do me well for water rides) and for camping/backpacking. this review is based on a 2 mile "test drive" walk with my dog. i did not get warm enough to be able to comment on their wicking qualities but I did find them breathable and just as comfy as cotton. I will be purchasing another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but the fit could be better. I mostly use these for my to and from work 7 mile bike rides but I'll use them any time I am going to break a sweat and am not wearing pants with built-in undies. I usually wear small, and got these in that size and the waste fits well, over all they. I like low-rise and these hit just right. My main complaint is that the do not cover my butt all the way. They kind of go across. I was worried they would ride up but that's not usually a problem, just occasionally. I like coverage but not bulky excess and these would be perfect if they did that better. Would not buy another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from you changed the elastic band You changed something in the new exofficio underwear. I prefer the old ones. The new ones have a bigger elastic band at the waist and it doesn't dry as fast as the old ones. I went to buy some more and found that they didn't make the old ones anymore so bought a pair of the "new" ones. and am disappointed that the elastic was still damp the next day; whereas in the old ones that I have, they would be dry in 2/3 hours. Bring back the old style. I found the same problem w/ the elastic staying damp in the men's exofficio underwear too. Bummer and I was trying to just wear only exofficio's. However, they are still very nice underwear, just not as quick drying as the old ones. I've had them for 3 years and they still look new. I've also just tossed them in the washing machine and they hold up well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful underpants! So far, for my body, build, and comfort, these are the best underpants I've ever owned. I have trouble with undies hiking up, if you know what I mean. I've hated that so much, I actually don't like to wear underpants anymore, and pretty much just gave up. I'm not into the "tug-tug" all day long, hoping no body is watching. I do travel quite a bit, and I needed something to take on trips that I could wash out in a sink and have dry by morning. These are perfect, and are dry in about an hour if you roll them up in a towel real good before laying them out to dry. Also, for some reason, the cut fits me so well, they hardly ever ride up. If they do, I don't notice- hence I'm not tugging. Can't speak for you, but these work great for me! Also, they wear like iron. I've had mine now, for about 3 years, and they still look like new. They seem to be made very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh Like a Daisy I wore these yesterday on a 14 mile trek plus a quick toddle around in my kayak. They were great at wicking away moisture and the best part was their odor resistance. I've always worn Pantagonia's underware and have often been disappointed with there ability to control odor in hot conditions. These keep me fresh, dry, and happy all day! Plus, hand washed them last night and they're ready for today's adventures!
