Tight and uncomfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The underwear came in a cute package, but that's all that I liked about it. The size is way off. I'm a medium, and it's way too tight on my waste. It cut my body in a very unflattering way. I'm a mom, so I have a small mom pouch and I like to wear my underwear a bit higher than the bikini line. It is very uncomfortable and annoying because the band keeps rolling down when I sit or move and I have to put my hand under my pants to unroll and adjust it. The material is very thin and feels soft and breathable, but I can't wear it because of the other issues I have with it. I had to take it off after 10 minutes because of how tight, annoying and uncomfortable the band was.
Mixed Feelings
I've been a loyal fan of ExOfficio underwear ever since my 2-year backpacking journey through Europe and Africa. The durability, comfort, and quick-drying nature of their original product made it a staple in my travel gear, proving its worth even years later. However, my recent purchase of 8 more pairs for an upcoming Southeast Asia trip left me disappointed. The material has changed making them slightly rougher, and the sizing now runs on the smaller side. A word of advice: size up. In addition to the material and sizing changes, ExOfficio's decision to alter the elastic on the waistband and leg openings is a significant downside. The new design not only compromises the comfort that was once a hallmark of their underwear but also introduces an unwelcome issue of visible panty lines. It's disappointing to see these modifications detract from the overall quality and wearability that initially drew me to the brand. Unfortunately, I realized this after washing them, making returns impossible. Change isn't always an improvement, and it's disheartening to see a once-reliable product undergo alterations that impact its performance.
Lightweight, Breathable, and So Comfortable!

Undies are not handkerchiefs
Re GnG 2.0 Hipster, S/P (4-6): the F21 (Oct 2021) waistband is some ten inches wider than my older F19 (Oct 2019). The GnG 2.0 Hipster F21 is sewn like a flat handkerchief, with zero gathers, as the fabric was sewn to an un-stretched elastic, for both waist & leg openings. Where is quality control? One star for this blue floral print!

Lightweight breathable underwear

I also like the wide waistband, it stays in place and no need to adjust. I’m usually Small and I got a medium thinking it might run small but I wish I got my usual size.

Workout comfort
