Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazeballs Got a couple of pairs on my first switch from cotton and other "regular 'ol" synthetics. Man was I a happy camper. Yeah they get wet when you're sweating up a storm (what underwear doesn't?), but they dry super fast-- sitting at camp, while still hiking, anytime! They're super comfortable- I couldn't tell they were there. Odor control was pretty good - hiking all day will put a dent in your sexy, but they do pretty well. Size wise, I wear Victoia Secret Large and got a Large here. Good, true to size, fit. Suffice to say, I've been getting a pair here and there for several months now. Boy I could wear these every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from these are fantastic Really, really great for travel and trail. I venture all over the world, so I'm often living out of my backpack or a suitcase. They are easy to hand wash and dry quickly, even in tropical climates. They seem to resist odor more than most underwear and they also seem to wick away the sweat. They work well in hot and cold weather. Unfortunately, this style does not fit my body type properly (panty lines); however, their boy-cut briefs fit perfectly. I would recommend trying at least a couple different styles to find the right one for you. Believe me, it is worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm a convert.... I have been a die-hard lover of patagonia's underware. Recently I have not liked their colors or designs, and it seems they are always out of stock. So, I tried these. I don't think I will go back to the expensive and hard to get patagonia underware. These are so light weight and soft. Just perfect for active booties. I only gave these 4 stars because the are a bit higher waisted than I would prefer. I also purchased the string bikinis, and they are perfect. So if you are looking for the perfect underpants with a higher rise, buy these, If you want a lower cut, try the string bikinis. Either way I am very happy with my purchase, so Happy in fact, I bought a pair of the ExOfficio boxers for my boyfriend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice but not my favorite I am 5'9" and 160lbs. I needed some quick-dry undies for backpacking and tried out three varieties: Patagonia Barely Bikini (L), ExOfficio Give-N-Go Lacy Low Rise Bikini (L) and ExOfficio Give-N-Go Bikini (L). I liked the Patagonia best. The lacy low rise are pretty but they wedge and will be returned; this bikini by ExOfficio is worth keeping but the fit and material are just not as nice as the Patagonia. Though both manage moisture well and dry overnight, the Patagonia is softer and stretches better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great panties I wear these all the time now; easy to care for if you do the towel trick. I have 8 pairs in dark colors. I won't buy the light colors because it's hard getting stains out of them. I fell in a mud puddle and the mud stain never came out of the white pair. So I bought the light blue &light green pair, same problem so I now only buy the dark colors. Very easy to pack; only pack 3 or 4 pairs (some people only bring 1 extra). I've had some for a few years and you can't tell the diff in the new and the old ones. They wear very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They breathe I love working out in these because they breathe and I don't feel all sweaty. They also stay put and do not ride up. They are light for traveling. I found they didn't dry as quick as I hoped in high humidity (near equator, 90+% humidity) but it was much better than the cotton underwear I brought. The adhesive on feminine products (pads) will not stick to these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than naked! Ok-I admit it, I am very persnickety about my underwear. My husband has the mens version and has been raving about them being the only underwear he wants to wear, all the time, every day! So I doubtfully bought some. These are the best undies ever, bar none! On the trial run, I wore them on a hot humid day and hiked for 10 miles, then changed all my clothes except these and went out for a night on the town. I kept wondering if I remembered to wear underwear that day, and then I thought Oh yeah they are the things that feel like silk, and about the only parts not sweaty were under these. I plan to slowly amass these undies until I can throw all others away. They really do wash and dry very easily and quickly, I have even accidentally put them in the dryer with no ill afffects. I will be taking these (and ONLY these kind) on my Australian trekking trip in a month. I have tried Patagonia, not even close, not as breathable and they crawl. Buy these and feel carefree!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want 10 more These underwear are the bomb! They are so comfortable and lightweight...I want to wear them everyday. For now I've tried limiting myself to wearing them when I hike or exercise hard core, but we all have those "treat yo self" days. I was lucky and got them on super sale at REI and I bought all the medium ones available (which sadly was only 2)! They are True To Size for me (athletic build, 5'7", 135). I was gifted a pair of competitors underwear (same price, famous company, citrus fruit in the name) a year ago and they look like I've run them over with a lawn mower after just a few washes. It's sad really. ExOfficio is 1000% better and are superior quality. I am so impressed. I'm trying to convince my husband to get the men's boxer briefs for our four 4 day hike in the summer. He needs ExOfficio in his life! And I need a raise so I can buy 10 more!

I'm 5'3", ~118 lbs, ~27" waist, ~36" hip. I tend to wear XS or 2 in pants of most brands. I haven't tried ExOfficio pants. Should I get the XS or S in these briefs? Thank you!

Asked by: TNCA
Based on the information you have provided, the XS will be the best choice for you.
