Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish option for a rain boot Stylish, not too bulky like a Muck brand boot, matte color is cool, cleaner look than other regular rubber boots. I have average size calves but the calf are aon the boot is pretty snug so if you have larger calves I would really consider if this is the right boot for you. Atleast try it on somewhere to see how you like it! You really need to wear a sock over your jeans in order for it to lay nicely inside the boot. Also, depending upon the environmental situation, my feet sweat a little so wear the right sock if you can that is wicking. When its really cold, wear a warmer sock because otherwise your feet will get chilly as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot!!!!! I just got these boots today after years of wanting to own a pair. I have no idea why did I not order these sooner????? I just LOVE them! They're super cute, very comfortable and I can wear them more now that it's getting colder. I love the style and the feel of them and they will come in very handy at the dog park and the dog beach. I'm usually wear a size 8.5. I listened to the other reviews and ordered them a half size smaller (size 8) and they fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Boots Ever! Thanks to reviews posted elsewhere, I knew that these ran a FULL SIZE TOO BIG, and got a 9 even though I usually wear a 10 (rarely a 9.5). Good thing I did! They fit perfectly with a bit of room to spare. I also worried because the reviewers all cautioned that they are tight in the calves for us fuller-calved gals. I have 15" calves, and as they are snug but just fine; I can even fit some jeans and pants down inside them. They are extremely comfortable and since they are poured rubber there are no seams to come undone as there are in cheaper wellies. I can now walk anywhere and in any weather with my son. They run cool, so I got some smartwool socks on here for cold weather (and we get lots up here in BC!). These wellies are completely worth the price, and besides, apparently the runway models are all wearing them this year (if that kind of thing interests you). We saw them all over New York last month. They're the best thing I've bought in ages: functional, comfortable, well made and stylish! If you're hesitating, don't - but DO buy a size smaller and realize that the calves in the boots do run about 15" around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rain boots, narrow shafts I loved my Hunter wellies. They were stylish and sturdy-- perfect boots for rainy days in the city, but also great for work days in the mud. I eventually gave them to a friend because the shafts were too narrow and tall. The top of the shaft cut into the bottom of my knee with every step and the shaft was so narrow I couldn't wear anything inside the boots except tights or pantyhose. To be honest, I didn't even realize my calves were wide until I wore these boots. Great boots, but there are better fitting options for shorter, wider calves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Excited for My Wellies! Exceptional Hunters! Am so excited to finally own a pair. I've wanted these for years, and am definitely not disappointed. Just want to wear them everywhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too tight around the calf! I fell in love with the look and the tradition of the boot. I was looking for something I could use while working on our farm in wet weather. I ordered these and before I received them I found the same style at a Nordstrom store. (They have apparently become a "fashion" item.) So in anticipation I tried them out at the store. They would not go over my calf because the upper part was too narrow and it would not go all the way up my calf. The shoe part was too big and wide, the ankle was very narrow. Once I got them on I had a hard time getting them off! They were very uncomfortable. The Scottish manufacturer must still be stuck in the 60's in "Twiggy" time. I am not fat, but I am fit and exercise and I have toned calf muscles. Too bad they don't make shorter, wider ones. Unless you have stick legs, do not buy these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth the price! I will be buying these in at least 1 or 2 more colors. They run almost a whole size too big so order down a full size. These boots are very well made and extremely comfortable! Way better than any other rain/work boots out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glamorous gardening I bought these specifically for use while I garden. They are perfect for working in the mud and wet conditions. The fit is great, albeit a bit tight in the calf area, but I knew that going in.

I have a silly question... I've only worn them in the rain and I wasn't sure if they're more for looks or if they're activewears as well. I'm going to Alaska for 3 months & was wondering if they'd be comfortable to fish in? (for pleasure, not commercial)

These boots can be used for different activities if they feel comfortable for you. Depending on the season or conditions, keep in mind the boots don't have insulation for warmth.
