Unfortunately had to return.
They appeared well made and looked great. Unfortunately, they didn't fit my wife's foot. They were the proper size in the toe box area. The problem was in the mid-foot area. It's the area in-between the top of the foot and the ankle. It was way to tight. She didn't feel that going up a size would help because they were sufficiently sized in length and with. It might just be her foot, but that is the first time she has complained about boots fitting that way. We sent them back and Bogs was super easy and pleasant to deal with. That's why we buy from them every year.
Too narrow
As another reviewer mentioned, these boots are narrower than the Bogs I need to replace. They are true to size, but snug across the ball of the foot. If Bogs have been too wide for you, this would likely be a good fit. I will be returning them.
Misleading Temp Rating Feet Freezing at 58F PLS RE
We purchased these boots on July 5, 2025 expecting them to be ready for the colder months, as the listing clearly claims they’re comfort-rated to -13F with “plush lining for warmth.” Now that the weather is finally cooling off, we found out they don’t keep feet warm at all. It was 58F today in Cleburne, Texas, and my wife’s feet were freezing just standing by the lake. If they can’t handle mild fall weather, they’re definitely not going to do anything in winter. What makes it worse is that we bought them early, thinking we were prepared now I am willing to answer my own question and say it’s too late to return or exchange them, and we’ll have to buy another pair from a different brand. These are not what they were advertised to be. Very disappointing experience.
Warmer rubber boot option
I bought these boots so I would have something comfortable and warmer to wear during muddy, winter walks. There's no snow or ice here yet! They help fill that gap till real winter arrives. I would have preferred to order a half size; however, this option was unavailable. They are an improvement over plain rubber boots and are comfortable to wear, but the cold rating they were given is a bit optimistic. In temperatures slightly above 0 degrees Celsius my feet were cold.
Easy to put on and wear for a long time
I've been wearing these during some cold winter weeks in Minnesota and they've been pretty great. They're not the most insulated, but if I keep moving, I keep warm. I also appreciate how sturdy the sole area seems to be, in that, I know that even if I just keep shoving my feet in, the back of the shoe isn't going to break down. The one fit issue for me is that I have very tall/thick feet height-wise, so since these are rubber, it's not like they'll eventually adjust to the shape of my foot and when I'm sitting for a while, I notice the boot's touch point with the top of my foot. Thankfully, it's not uncomfortably tight. As a mom of two little kids, these have been a great purchase of boots that work for running out the door without a lot of effort, playing in the snow, or going for walks without worry for traction or wet.
Great replacement and great style
I needed a new pair of Bogs since my other pair developed a crack in the sole and was leaking after two years. I'm hoping they can recycle them. So far these Amanda II Zip boots are excellent. Warm in minus 5C cold, slush and snow. Easy to slip on and off which was important for me. I like the narrower foot width and toe compared to my other Bogs. Also, they're a lot more stylish than my other boots. I've been wearing these a lot since I received them last week.
Mostly lives up to promises
Comfortable, dry and slip resistant as long as the mud hasn't built up in the grooves of the soles. I use these boots in a vineyard- on my feet all day in all kinds of weather. They are just tall enough and certainly keep my feet dry. The cold rating, however, has not impressed me. They've only been tested in around -1 Celsius but have left my toes very cold. Same number of socks needed as I use with my Blundstones.
Very comfortable, highly recommend
I was worried these may not fit since I have large calves. To my surprise they fit wonderfully, not tight at all. No bunching, comfortable to walk in. You do have to pull them on even with the zipper. You can't just step in, but they aren't difficult to pull on. I've never splurged on nice boots before and I'm so happy that I did. Highly recommend, 10/10.
Comfortable but leak
I ordered the Amanda II Zip boots. They were comfortable and kept my feet dry for a bit. Only a bit. My left foot was wet after wearing them in the rain and now the right one is also a bit damp. My other Bogs have been great so I don't know why they've gone downhill. This is something I didn't expect from Bogs boots. Not too pleased.
Perfect for cold climates and rain
These boots are fantastic for rain, snow and COLD. Minnesota winters get rough and these worked for me all winter long working at a school, with outside recess duty. This is my second pair and worth every penny! Extremely comfortable and warm. No breaking in and comfy enough to wear all day.
